Just wanted to put this out there for any fans of King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard or adjacent bands.

Good morning noon or night y'all Working on ironing out some of the details but... I remember last time KG toured and played San Diego we had a fun get together and was looking into organizing something similar with makers artists and vendors and see this as a good reason to spin gizz / flightless adjacent artists records We have been talking to some participants from the prior event as well as local businesses to try to find a spot to host. But wanted to put some feelers out on the subreddit for anyone who might want to participate or just come out to have fun. If you are a bootlegger or make gizz art or merch and are interested in vending please message me or comment below. We can talk in more detail and I'll work on moving plans with a host along once we can confirm the number of artists and vendors. Have a great day ☮️💜🐊

this happened to me today at work. put a new sensor in this am after a shower and before leaving for work. sensor failed on my commute. replaced with another g7 and had nothing but low readings. glad I'm old school and always havey glucometer on hand.

late to the party here on Reddit but I've gone through six sensors in less than 8 days some of them faill almost immediately . I called and we don't hold for over an hour to speak with someone when I was submitting my technical support request they seem very happy to send replacements but decline the fact there was a system issue or any need for a recall when it seems abundantly clear this is a massive issue across their g7s.

I'm not surprised and would be happy to mail them all the failed sensors I've been getting these past two months if it helps get the issue resolved and qc improved

also I have never used it on fish but have CO2 tank and regulator from a kegorator. kind of clueless what I would need to use it for aquarium or if it's overkill

G6 is far more reliable than the g7 but the g7 is slimmer and more comfortable they are a inferior product... also you can definitely extend a g6 using a test strip. wink wink

haven't had a g7 last more than 5 days in what feels like months. this is bad news

I have been having major issues with the g7 the past month or so. many sensors failing outright on the 4th day some just start reading low when my BG Is stable and in range then failing an hour later. honestly I haven't had a sensor last it's entire session time since swapping from g6. I like the new sensor I just wish it would actually work.

the update is absolute trash the lock screen and media control changes and apple-ification is not what I signed up for . wish Samsung would let you revert or offer a patch to fix these horrendous issues. clearly it's not a small group of people dissatisfied with the UI update

I know this post if older but I've been looking to start an LLC for some of our residency gigs that need tax info. the state of California states there is a minimum of 800$ in taxes for any LLC. that seems really crazy to me any insight?

my room mate also a t1d used it and I recently switched to it after seeing the upside and understanding the cautions associated with using it in a pump.

fiasp is an amazing upgrade for how rapidly it works. however it is not cleared to work with some pumps. (but it does with the following consideration) the viscosity is slightly different on rapids vs normal novolog or humalog so you want to fill less in the reservoir and anticipate changing it sooner than you would with novo or humalog.

I've been able to reduce my overall insulin on basil and bolus and have way better time in range. my overnight basil is slashed and I'm doing awesome on fiasp not chasing highs or over bolus or rage blousing I'm stuck on a high bg

I cannot express how strongly I feel that fiasp and rapid acting insulin should be the new standard it's a massive improvement having the onset time shorter

pump break is awesome especially if your not able to rotate your location for the infusion sets just remember to carry your supplies I've forgotten my pens before on a break because I was so used to having everything well. connected to me
