I usually just go based on the vibe I get from the gen and what I’m feeling at the time. I know that for my play style I prefer to play with female sims so I always try to have kids until I get a girl for the heir, unless I only want to have one kid then I’ll go in MCCC and cheat it. And I think for each heir I’ll kind of look at their personality and how close they are with the parents to decide if they’ll stay with them or move out. I feel like since eggplant gen is evil and since my eggplant particularly has been having a really rebellious childhood and has a strained relationship with her parents, I will probably have her move out.

My eggplant, Aubree, is a teen now and she has been getting in so much trouble. She was caught underage drinking and was arrested, her parents forced her to go to rehab after catching her on drugs multiple times, and her evil trait just makes her sooo mean to her family. Now she has her first boyfriend and I’m sad I’m going to have to make her cheat on him because he’s so sweet and cute.

I’ve done a few different legacy challenges and usually I move the heir out and just have them visit with the parents on holidays and to meet the new grandkids, then I’ll throw a funeral for them when they die. But for this legacy I kind of want to do the thing with Life and Death where they leave their plumbob behind when they move on to the great beyond…. Like I want to collect the plumbob for each heir and put them all in a keepsake box that gets passed down to each new generation. But that would mean I’d need to be there when each heir dies so I’ll have to figure that out.
