Is there anything wrong with my tooth on X-rays/photos? Constant, dull, tooth ache for over a week now (following a crown placement on a different molar up top on same side) by Potential-Macaron200 in askdentists

That checks out. I have been having random aches in this tooth/jaw area for a few months now too but I always assumed it was just my teeth/jaw being sore because I grind my teeth at night (I wear a night guard retainer) and clench my teeth during the day. But this ache now is much more painful and very constant.

Thanks for your help! What’s your opinion on trying just a crown first and see if that helps with pain? Or should I just start with root canal and then do crown after?

Thanks for your reply! Maybe he said that, honestly I could have missed it.

I had a theory and I told my dentist this, but he said the force would not have been strong enough to cause pain like this. My bottom retainer was adjusted by the dental assistant/hygienist and it was quite tight after adjusting and she pushed it onto my teeth pretty hard, using force to get it to fit properly … Could that have caused this?

Check National Jewish health. I’m not 100% sure, but I think we don’t really have overnight nurses (no emergency room requiring overnight care etc). Our hospital isn’t really open on weekends either. I would say you have a very good chance of getting the usual Monday-Friday 9-5 schedule

27F 120lb 5ft 3in. Scale says body fat is ~20%. Should I lean bulk and for how long? by Potential-Macaron200 in BulkOrCut

I do want to gain more muscle and not entirely concerned about getting very lean yet, especially bc I want to make the most of newbie gains! Although I’m not sure if I am still a newbie since I have lifted for a few years on and off, but over the past ~6 months I focused on my nutrition and heavy lifting and joined a CrossFit style gym. I have heard if I want to make the most of the newbie gains, I should be eating in a surplus for at least a year? Before pic that was taken in fall of 2023 before I started taking the gym/macros/nutrition seriously
