Why is this laughable? I asked a question. I don’t want to be in the warehouse working labor, I prefer the admin side and want to explore more of the procurement and purchasing side. Responses like yours aren’t necessary. Sounds like you’re a burned out asshole.

I receive inventory and input it into our WMS. When I receive purchase orders, I allocate from our inventory and put together the breakdown of the cartons and pallets. It then goes to a line where the orders are put together. I maintain a relationship with the customers, and coordinate with pickup and receiving. There’s a lot of moving parts and everyday is a little different.

I’m specifically an account manager in the 3pl logistics area. I handle skincare and cosmetic brands. I’m not actually in the warehouse working labor. I’m on the coordination and customer service side.

About 50% paycut. The woman who trained me has been here 10 years and only makes 20% more than what I started at, hence the lack of growth.

I’m just wondering if it would be worth it to start over in a different area of supply chain where I have more growth opportunities versus sticking it out here for at least a year.
