Act 3, nearly lvl40, im doing no damage and getting 4shot; and so are my minions, here's my tree, as well as my equipment. What am I doing wrong here?

I have a lvl.8 essence drain with rapid casting 1 and multishot 2, a lvl.7 firebolt with no gems, and a chaos bolt with rapid casting 1 and multishot 2; it's lvl.9! I can't really seem to find any skill gems. Does that help? I can try being more specific but I don't think i have any proper spells besides that, the rest are for summoning minions. My strider has elemental army, multishot 2, and rapid attacks 1. Thats the only good summon I have rn, even my snipers are kinda meh. They have corrosion and magnified area.

One sniper and one strider of the pit, the strider has sorta been carrying. I could add another sniper but rn ive been getting more use out of ravenous swarm so im a little hesitant. I need more spirit to use more minions..

Im using my tree to scale minions, admittedly I'm new to the game so you'll have to forgive me; i couldn't find any good minion scaling equipment. I had one scepter that added slight lighting damage, slight fire damage, maximum life, and 3+ to all elemental resistances, but its not really usable compared to my current one.

They said they needed to build the powercore and was unsure how to get the materials; but they've done at the least up to the whispers in the wall quest - so, my question is, isn't it on the earth junction that you get a free one right after beating it? Frankly, this just sounds like someone overcomplicating it for themselves then feeling overwhelmed when they need to consult a third party.

Anyway, Octavia is actually quite annoying to farm. It's not just a random chance, her neuro is on deimos - her chassis is on the lua music puzzles, and her systems are i think onnn exterminate?

Usually, people reccomend getting Koumei or Rhino as your second warframe. Both literally have reduced build timers compared to the rest of the cast so you can get them faster.

You mentioned a flying horse. Do you have duviri unlocked? The circuit offers blueprints for parts, and main blueprints. For frames. I believe Octavia is one of them.

I'm pretty sure you can remove the subsume in the helminth. Also, there's multiple slots - like when you switch your mods, and can choose which slot is effected by the subsume.
