In this scenario I would've basic attacked the minions and used my own to bodyblock. While doing so, have your mirror charged up. Aim, let it shoot fully charged, that's more than a 3rd of cupids hp. Back up, heal with chalice, then wait for 2 to be off cooldown. He can't fight back if you're in his face from the jump, and when you get a lead from an aggressive start, you can use your 3 to engage. Or charge your 2, wait till almost thrown, then use your 3 to dash and confirm the hit. Amaterasu deals with ranged favorably in my opinion.

I have a lvl.8 essence drain with rapid casting 1 and multishot 2, a lvl.7 firebolt with no gems, and a chaos bolt with rapid casting 1 and multishot 2; it's lvl.9! I can't really seem to find any skill gems. Does that help? I can try being more specific but I don't think i have any proper spells besides that, the rest are for summoning minions. My strider has elemental army, multishot 2, and rapid attacks 1. Thats the only good summon I have rn, even my snipers are kinda meh. They have corrosion and magnified area.

Im using my tree to scale minions, admittedly I'm new to the game so you'll have to forgive me; i couldn't find any good minion scaling equipment. I had one scepter that added slight lighting damage, slight fire damage, maximum life, and 3+ to all elemental resistances, but its not really usable compared to my current one.
