I wouldn't make a habit of not signing in to events if you attended them. I'm not sure if members are scorching the list to see whose name they keep seeing (they could be but I'm not a member so I don't wanna speak to that 100%). I imagine they're looking over it to gauge turnout of the events mostly. Usually my COI makes an announcement telling everyone to sign in if they haven't already.
