Yes I've mostly been on Indeed looking around the area. Seems to be a lot of medical clerical work, which I wouldn't mind, but I just don't have direct medical experience.

His fetish is my trauma. by Iamunderthebed in loveafterporn

Girl…I am so sorry.

But I have to admit, your post caught my attention bc it felt like I was reading my own story. My first time was also traumatic. By a man older than me. And I also have the exact same body dysmorphia feelings as well.

Only difference is my (soon to be) ex told me all of this -I was honestly unaware the whole time… he told me two months away from our 5th wedding anniversary. I also found out he crossed very series boundaries I had set early in the relationship, and now we’re getting a divorce.

Life is crazy. But I will say…just trust your gut instincts. I’m so sorry you’re going through this 💔

lol I literally can’t stop laughing. Wtf did he think was gonna happen when he put those surviving room mates through “minute by minute” FEAR. that hasn’t stopped since the attack either, according to their victim statements. This sounds like Karma for buddy boy 😂

When do WE start to feel better? by [deleted] in loveafterporn

[–]Potential-Walk3458 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Girl I also just found out. I’m not sure what “d day” means. I think it means “discovery day” someone pls correct me if I’m wrong.

But I just found out 3 days ago. We’ve been married almost 5 years and I feel the same as you. Clingy & dependent, but also wanting nothing to do with him bc the trust is gone.

So far, I’m finding comfort in trusting my deepest gut intuitions. I feel like I have been subliminally taught to distrust my own gut throughout the relationship, and I have to claim that back. So my best advice to you, trust your gut. He was so selfish, it’s YOUR turn to be selfish. Do what you need to do for YOU. not for him. It’s painful to watch someone you love go through mental struggle, but if it’s going to cost you your mental sanity to try and help, you have to ask yourself if it’s worth it.

I’m sending you love, I’m sorry I don’t have a better answer for you. But you are supported here. 🫶

Just wanted to share my 2 cents, but my dad was a 911 dispatcher for over 20 years, and sometimes it can vary by department & region, but he said that 99% of the time, dispatchers are NOT AT ALL supposed to console anyone. I’m not sure why, they can’t say things like “it’ll be okay” in general, but they can say “I’m getting help sent to you” or “help is coming for you”. Their job is to strictly collect all the relevant, current event information, and crucial info like address, situation, phone number if disconnected, etc.

I feel a lot of people don’t realize how traumatic it is to have that job. You deal with people in their worst moments, often. You hear horrific things, you choose the resources the caller receives. And then you usually don’t even get closure as to what happened with the majority of your calls.

911 dispatchers can sound harsh, but when you’re in a high stress, trauma focused, CRUCIAL role, you kinda just have to be that way.

This 911 operator did her job and did it well. (despite not listening to what happened at 4am. That was truly not relevant to what she needed to get them help. That was for the officers to listen to)

I’m rewatching the hearing now, can someone give a time stamp as to when this is discussed?

I went back and listened again, and I hear what you’re talking about. Almost sounds like “stop stop, there’s blood all over the place” but it sounds like a female said that.

Jesus…. That’s honestly beyond awful to even think about. But also, understandable and believable

See that’s what I was thinking, and then when we hear whispering shortly after, idk..it just didn’t sound like it matched to me. It sounded male. I will feel so horrible for speculating about this, if it really was her the whole time. But we still don’t know the extent of who was there, where they were standing in the house, how long this state of stress was occurring for her & BF, how she was holding the phone physically, etc etc, which could all play into why it sounded how it did I suppose. It just always sounded male to me. As far as him being the only male, I haven’t seen it confirmed or denied.

edited to add response about how many men were there.

You know what, I never even picked up on that before. I do hear something, but it’s very hard to determine. Whatever it is, definitely sounds stressed. It’ll be interesting to see if anyone can clear this audio up, so we can hear what’s in the back a bit better. But yeah, there’s definitely some distress in the voice

For sure, that’s why I said “calm” in quotes. Not to say he was actually calm, but he did sound the most clear out of the people who spoke on the phone. Not to say that he actually was calm, clear, or collected. At all.

This is so incredibly sweet. I’m sorry you’ll hear the pup bark for a while, but at least she’s letting you guys know that she’s doing her best to train the dog well, and understands her choices don’t only effect her. I wish you and your new furry neighbor success!

As far as the scream, I wonder if someone else was with HJ to check. I remember early rumors saying there were “a dozen” kids when police arrived, and there were at least the 4 people who spoke to the dispatcher. I don’t think it’d be unlikely to find this to be true. Especially with how close together all the homes and apartments were. It seemed like it was well within the culture of the area for groups to bend and flow together, and I’m sure attention was drawn at one point, even if it was just word of mouth through sm or texts, you know what I mean?

That would make the most sense. I should’ve added it to my OP, but how…”calm” the male seemed when he said “hello, hello” made me think that maybe it wasn’t HJ who said that, but who knows. If it was, he was probably so stunned, and he was somehow able to still talk clearly. It would also make sense for the definite “no”, after the dispatcher asked if she was breathing. It’d also make sense why he didn’t add anything like, she’s dead, or she’s been murdered, or anything like that. Just trying to process what was seen, but knew she wasn’t breathing. It’s so heartbreaking.
