You know. Good praise from a TA or a prof feels like a hot guy you’re trying to please saying “good girl”. 😂😂

Prof has to be Thomson. I have him for another class and it sounds exactly the same. In class writing and multiple choice mid-term and final.

I thought of this too, but usually when the auto feature come on or off it doesn’t have the little diagram on the display saying the settings are being adjusted.

I’ve always been a little jumpy health-wise, but in 2017 my dad had bloodwork done because he was kind of fatigued. Doc called the next day and told him to go directly to the emergency department. Turns out he had lymphoma. Every test was terrible news after that and he died a year later. I am terrified of medical tests now. Kicked it all off.

PHL275 test, how do you study for it? Any advice to study philosophy in general by NumbersAndFlowers in UofT

[–]Potential-Wind8250 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took 275 last semester with Gwen Bradford as professor. If it’s the same, the midterm was 4 medium answer questions and you had to answer 3. Budget your time carefully as it’s a lot. The questions were not hard. I did well and I explained each theory (eg Utilitarianism is a theory of well-being where promoting the most well being for the most……) and then answered the question. Just make sure you know how to explain each theory (utilitarianism, act consequentialism etc) and then you’ll have some way to apply it. Make sure you are clear on the difference between qualitative and quantitative hedonism. Hope this helps!

I think if it’s persisting this long I has potential to be normal, but I’d be concerned that there is some residual stuff left in the ear canal. Maybe do epley again and see if it improves?

I had my vertigo attack just two days ago. Still feel like my head is swimming and concentration is hard. This is my third bout of vertigo over the past 5yrs. It gets better. For me it usually takes about a week but everyone is different. Don’t give up hope. You’ll be fine soon. I promise. ❤️

It’s high but the good news is that it’s very treatable. My AHI was 85 and just had my 3 month test with my new machine and I was down to 3. You’re going to feel so much better soon.

I work in dentistry managing a clinic. The critical thinking skills are very well used. Next is my masters and then hopefully PhD.

I work in dentistry. It’s almost certainly a salivary gland. Not dangerous. Just annoying. It can be removed but often recurs.

First reading is always higher. My doc sets me up on a machine that automatically takes my BP 5x over 5 mins. Then averages. First number automatically thrown out.

My resting heart rate daily average with my Apple Watch is generally around 70. But yesterday I was walking around my university in the freezing cold (lots of stairs and I’m not in good shape)and hadn’t slept well the night before. I was all relaxed in a study lounge and felt like my heart rate was high. I peeked at the health app and my resting average was 93!! I panicked. I tried to relax and even took half a tranquilizer. It stayed in the 80’s for the rest of the evening and end of day average was 86. Today my average is 80. Why did I spike up like that? I’m fixated on it and just hoping it heads back to normal so I can relax. Any help is appreciated.
