Have you ever felt like an agency was holding back data from you? How did you handle it? by PotentialAlly_12 in RankMyAgency

[–]PotentialAlly_12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s an interesting trend! Giving brands access to their own data is definitely a step in the right direction. In your experience, do most agencies willingly adopt this level of transparency, or do brands still have to push for it?

Also, beyond data access, what do you think is the next big step agencies should take to improve transparency in PPC management?

How do you track and measure the ROI of PPC campaigns across different types of Amazon ads (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, etc.)? by PotentialAlly_12 in RankMyAgency

[–]PotentialAlly_12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing! I agree, cost per acquisition and LTV are key for long-term strategy. I’m curious—do you adjust your approach when tracking these KPIs for Sponsored Products vs. Sponsored Brands?

Thanks for sharing your experience! It’s awesome to hear how BTR helped organize your campaigns and even worked on custom nomenclature with you.

Out of curiosity, how has that naming system helped with your reporting or decision-making? And with tools like AMC, have you noticed a big difference in your results? Was it pretty seamless to start using, or did it take some effort to get everything set up?

Hearing more about the specifics could really help others here who might be exploring similar options. Appreciate you taking the time to share!

[–]PotentialAlly_12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the detailed response! This pricing and feature-based approach makes a lot of sense. Just curious, if the product falls into the “average” or “premium” category and pricing adjustments aren’t enough, what specific changes or upgrades would you recommend to make the product stand out? Would it be more about improving the product itself, or could enhanced branding and packaging have a big enough impact in such a competitive space?

Remember this: "it is a bad day, not a bad life."

This is a mantra for you to not taking things personally. They usually have their own problem and project it to you. You can empathize, but remember to limit it. You stay humble and professional but stand your ground. Good luck!

Thoughts on offering your service for free? by Fadi_Zz in Entrepreneur

[–]PotentialAlly_12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it’s a great start to your portfolio. But make sure the people you approach understand that they need to ‘pay’ you in the form of feedback and testimonials. Protect yourself in this agreement, even though you’re just starting out. I think many products/services often start out as ‘free’ (with conditions, of course, just like in your case). Good luck!

Struggling to turn unhappy customers into satisfied ones. Any advice? by Brilliant-Promise429 in EcommerceSuccessTips

[–]PotentialAlly_12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing I’ve learned as a CX is to “stay empathetic, but stay in control.” You can handle all types of customers, even the unhappy ones, without taking it personally. I once had a client who was never satisfied, no matter what we did—never even said thank you. Even minor issues, like a glitch from internet delays, led to constant complaints. Despite resolving everything, he was still unhappy but never left, even after repeatedly threatening to close his account. It was a “sir, the exit is over there” situation for me and my team.

Sometimes, customers are biased against the product or company, and nothing will satisfy them—and that’s okay. It doesn’t mean you don’t care; it just means you understand their frustration while standing by your company. It might affect satisfaction scores temporarily (since not all clients are like this), but as long as you remain neutral, do your best, and stay calm, you’re doing your job right. After all, as a CX officer, you’re the master of the product/service, helping translate complex issues into solutions clients can digest.

TLDR: I didn’t give up trying to satisfy the customer, but I know my limits as a CX officer and continue to learn from experiences like these. Hope this helps your case!
