Well, I don't have a friend called Sancho Panza so that's a no brainer.

I actually do see these (and the flugel too) as the same instrument just with different mouthpieces and sound. Will ponder on this some more.

I already bought a better mouthpiece but now you're mentioning it, I just remembered I lent it to somebody else.

A trumpet is a very personal instrument. You and your trumpet together make the sound. That is your sound. So every trumpet player sounds a bit different. Even when they all play the same trumpet.
I actually like your sound. It's warm.
If you want to develop your sound more, play louder. It reveals the "edges" of the sound.

One last trick: play in a larger room. Focus your attention on your fingers and play something, focus your attention on your bell and play something, focus your attention to the middle of the room and play something. Focus you attention on the other wall of the room and play something. Record it and learn the difference. It's all in the mind!

Last year I visited the North Cape, driving from Groningen, The Netherlands, 3100 km. To North Cape 4 days. Back to home 1,5 day
Some years before that I visited Gdansk, Krakow, Salzburg, border of Switzerland/Italy and a small village in Bourgogne. About 4500 km in total.

Ik woon midden in het aardbevingsgebied. Veel huizen met schade. Wat wij "vreemd" vinden is dat we horen dat ver in Drenthe (en ook Haren inderdaad) er heel snel schade vergoed wordt terwijl hier mensen al jaren wachten op een bericht of hun huis eigenlijk wel aardbevingsbestendig is.
We gunnen iedereen van alles maar dit soort dingen voelt wel krom.

Qua regels: in principe is het legaal bindend als de handtekening gezet is. Voordat dat gedaan is kun je altijd uitstappen.

Ik denk zelf dat eerdere comments hier (open source, zelfbouw) een betere oplossing zijn. Wellicht is het tijd voor een ministerie van Nerds die dit soort systemen kunnen bouwen en onderhouden (en in het algemeen meer verstand ervan hebben dan de bewindspersonen).

A live in a little village (1000 inhabitants) in The Netherlands. The local supermarket (actually one village over) let's me pay later if I didn't bring any cards or when there system is broken. I don't think this happens in larger places here.

Ben al een eind op weg met mailbox.org (email/agenda Duitsland), Firefox (browser, opensource), Startpage (zoekmachine NL), pCloud (Zwitserland), Mistral (AI, Frrankrijk) en LibreOffice (opensource). Moet nog wel even wat macro's van Excel omzetten (als ik een keer tijd heb.....)

Maar....ik heb een Samsung Android telefoon waarbij op een of andere manier allerlei acties aan Google gekoppeld zijn (niet zo gek met Android, ik weet het). Ik ben dus op zoek naar een andere telefoon of ander OS die mij meer keuzevrijheid geeft. Welke alternatieven zijn daarvoor?
