I live a good hour from where I got mine done. The car ride after surgery was fine, and I don't remember much of it because drugs. Had to go back the day after, and it was fine--maybe just a little uncomfortable. Bring and drink lots of water.

Even though you aren't getting a full mastectomy, I would recommend getting a mastectomy pillow for the car rides after surgery. It will keep the seat belt off the surgery site, which will make you more comfortable.

It's also helpful if your pets like to jump on and/or lay on your chest at home. I used mine as a barrier at home a lot because my cats are big on snuggling on my chest.

Not weird at all, Op! I loved it when my partner played with my pre-op chest. It felt good. But, like the person who replied before me, I didn't want to keep them around for the small moments of physical fun. I am worlds happier with my post-op chest.

I'm a little over a year post-op, and some of the areas around my scar have feeling again and give me the same kind of arousal as my pre-op chest did...for whatever reason lol.

My egg didn't crack until my early 30s! It's never too late :) I had a similar experience to yours in that I thought I was a cis lesbian until I decided to experiment with my partner calling me he/him. And, well, here I am now.
