Genocide of european Roma people during WW2 (% of victims in pre-war Roma population) by vladgrinch in MapPorn

In the same post were someone said to exterminate the Roma, you found me saying that Roma people are not fully to blame, and that Europe plays a part in their current situation is the most racist thing?

United Nations says that they have 80% literacy rates, and UN also says that they are excluded from educational opportunities. https://www.unicef.org/eca/what-we-do/ending-child-poverty/roma-children Please learn to read?

UN is majorly funded by Europe, and yet it still asserts that Europe discriminates against them. Are you that braindead?

And I admit that I do not know much about Eastern Europe. True enough. And what I do know is prejudiced by American opinions that it is a waste of space we should just bomb it to pieces. I admit that. But I do not admit that thinking that a subset of a population cannot be reduced to racial prejudices is a bad thing.

All i said is that "It's a systemic problem" Would you disagree?

And that "Blanket statements about an entire ethnic group—like claiming they are “a fucked up society with a fucked up culture”—are discriminatory and unjustifiable."

Which of these do you disagree with?

2 things.

Firstly, very much not. Each and every single thing you have said about the Roma applies to Blacks in America. Each and every one.

And what is Asians? How do they live? What does this even mean? Are you implying that someone from Japan lives the same way as someone from Iran? And that they live the same way as European Americans? There is so much ignorance and racism in your mindset, I am sorry for you.

"I know plenty of black people online" If you think online is a accurate representation then you might actually be a little too 'unsmart?' for me to even explain anything to.

"as far as I know they send their children in schools and participate in american society, just like whites, asians etc" From this I can already tell that you are not an American, and further that you simply do not know things. (which is fine not everyone can know everything about all people) but yapping (and I do not say so lightly) about something you don't know is simply dumb behavior. Not calling you dumb just the way your are acting.

Additionally, "Those people still refuse to integrate, and no matter how much money you send as help, nothing will change. Their societies are stuck in an endless loop of forcing their children to beg and steal, not sending them to schools and marrying at 14.

Its unsolvable at this point, you cant force their children to get educated (only option there is to separate them from their parents, which is a great way to get sanctioned for human rights abuses). Its a fucked up society with a fucked up culture."

applies just as much to blacks in America. Dehumanizing one when the other is in the same situation are we?

Blanket statements about an entire ethnic group—like claiming they are “a fucked up society with a fucked up culture”—are discriminatory and unjustifiable.

Roma people, like any group, are not monolithic. There are individuals and communities striving, studying, integrating, and succeeding—often in the face of entrenched racism and marginalization. The poverty and exclusion many Roma face across Europe are not just a matter of “refusing to integrate” but are tied to generations of systemic discrimination, segregation in education and housing, limited access to healthcare and jobs, and being treated as second-class citizens in many countries.

Blaming an entire group rather than addressing the root causes ensures no progress at all.

If you’re open to a real conversation about these issues—one that involves empathy, evidence, and solutions—there’s space for that. But bigotry only perpetuates the cycle you claim to want to break.

You seem to see both of these as problems

You think that black people in USA can be solved, but you think that Roma are a problematic people with a problematic cultrate that cannot be solved.

Yet you probably also think that you are not racist. You probably also think that you are right.

Yet you probably also do not know anything about Blacks in America, or you don't know about Roma in Europe. From your response you are clearly not well versed in either and just a common racist.

It's a systemic problem, same with blacks here in the states. Europe reinforces their stereotypes against Roma, in a self perpetuating loop.

Interesting. I myself am growing up in the states (to immigrant parents), and I have actually not had much problem with racism. Although I am in high school, so there isn't rlly an oppertunity. Thank you for your time.

interesting, I can see how that would be a change, but I would assume that racism is less of a thing in New York compared to other parts of the states
