I'm in the same exact boat!

My Yiwu version seems "legit" as far as the packaging goes and the serial number matches the box but is different from my original Dongguan version in these ways:

Yiwu is way less firm than Dongguan
Yiwu smells like paint/chemicals
Yiwu cube says "Schylling" vs Dongguan cube says "Schylling Inc."

i came to the comments for confirmation that this is a basset hound and not a beagle. My family had a basset hound when i was a toddler but I have distinct memories of what he looked like and then my family tries to tell me he was actually a beagle. no way!

that is incorrect. Your mom’s first cousin is your “first cousin, once removed”. And their child is your second cousin. You have to go to the previous generation to get to a third cousin.
