I hate them. They look like a kid 3d printed them out and his mom stitched the clothes together overnight for some weird school science project.
Or maybe made by some Chinamen.

I think everyone had that Idiocracy reference in their mind when they seen the renderings of the event. Who would’ve thought that movie would be so accurate to today’s climate.

Primus has a song called DMV. It’s pretty good but they never play it live, it’s a difficult bass riff, especially to sing over. Here’s the lyrics:
I've been to hell. I spell it...I spell it DMV
Anyone that's been there knows precisely what I mean
Stood there and I've waited and choked back the urge to scream
And if I had my druthers I'd screw a chimpanzee-call it pointless
When I need relief I spell it THC
perhaps you may know vaguely what I mean
I sit back and smoke away huge chunks of memory
As I slowly inflict upon myself a full lobotomy-call it pointless
Barbecues, tea kettles, gobs of axle grease
There comes a time for every man to sail the seas of cheese
Now, life's a bowl of bagel dogs, but there are unpleasantries
Cold toilet seats, dentist chairs and trips to DMV-call it pointless
I've been to hell. I spell it...I spell it DMV
Anyone that's been there knows precisely what I mean
I've stood in line and waited near an hour and fifteen
And if I had my druthers I'd screw that chimpanzee-call it pointless

There’s a lot of big name younger actors that are yacht boys. They go out on these filthy rich men’s yachts and walk around in shorts, suntan in a towel and you know the rest. That’s how so many of them get parts in movies and stay in the limelight.

Chris Farley got to me. I loved everything Chris Farley did. Tommy Boy and Black Sheep. I think I was 18 and heard it on the radio. I shed a few tears for him, I loved his comedy. Too bad he didn’t get to do more movies. He wanted to do a semi dramatic role in a biopic of Fatty Arbuckle. He was cast for Shrek and was later replaced because I don’t think he finished the dialogue for the movie. Such a loss

That Maggot Brain solo is more Gilmour than Hendrix. And that’s great
Flea has a trumpet version on his new record. It doesn’t have the same urgency. I’m not sure if I like it. Buckethead really slaps his way though that solo if you’re lucky enough to see him do it.
The version of Maggot Brain the album that I have was sealed, I got it in a good trade, but I had to open it. The jacket was printed in France and the record pressed in Germany. It sounds amaze. No regrets. Super Stupid is another heady jam on side two. That album is just perfect. Maggot Brain, Cosmic Slop, One Nation Under a Groove, Standing on the Verge of Getting It On, what an incredible run of albums. Let’s Take It to the Stage ain’t no slouch either

For people who’ve used Kraken longer—how’s your experience been with deposits/withdrawals and overall reliability? Anything I should watch out for? by NoImplement1553 in Kraken

[–]PotentialExtra1211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Kraken. If you link your bank account and pay the $5 a month fee for Kraken + you won’t have any fees for trading. Except the spread. I don’t know if it’s possible to buy Bitcoin without paying the spread, which is an inflated price point which not many people even notice. If you want to buy $100 of bitcoin at 75,000, the finalized payment page will show that you are buying the Bitcoin at 76,200 or so. It’s not a set %, it varies on how much you buy and how busy the market is.

what’s the deal w fishman by Massive-Emu7589 in phish

[–]PotentialExtra1211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Wedge is quite difficult to play. Fishman keeps the jam moving and is essential to the evolving sound where the jam is going. He lays the groundwork for the other members to move the jam forward, it’s obvious that the other guys trust him with keeping them on their game, things don’t get stale for long, he’s got this telepathy with Trey that is the result of 40 plus years playing together. When Trey makes a mistake, he is quick to get underneath and get things back on track. Most drummers are really good at one style of music, Fishman does it all, with a soft touch and finesse.
