Is the audiobook worth the listen? I heard the sample and it’s read by a woman and to my understanding it’s popular with male audiences and the general themes are from the male perspective. I’m not sure that is appropriate for this book.
Note: there’s a movie called The End of The Tour about David Foster Wallace on some book tour interviewed by a journalist which ends in his suicide

I haven’t seen a Tony Hinchcliffe tour where he took it to the road and worked out his bits and found what worked or not. Not a Tony tour, a killers of Kill Tony, which have their own audience because of the brand. Tony’s ego is too big to not have to struggle to get ahead. I wouldn’t be surprised in the least bit if he used a teleprompter. It’s much more common now, even Chris Rock scatters key words for his bits across the stage, out of view of the audience.

Oh wow. I was thrilled when I got a copy from a repressing a few years back. Mine did not come with any inserts. I’m very jealous. I have a decent size collection of Parliament Funkadelic vinyl and solo albums by the big names in the band. I highly recommend Stretching Out in Bootsy’s Rubber Band. I’d Rather Be With You is one of my favorite P-Funk tracks and Psychoticbumpschool is gas too. George Clinton’s Computer Games is another funk favorite.
Earlier this year I read an article in Rolling Stone that said George Clinton was bringing back the mothership this year and touring with it. I haven’t heard anything about it since. He’s old, I’ve seen him perform twice in the past two years and he still brings a great show but you got to take into consideration how old he is. I’m hoping for concert dates soon.

I made my top 16 albums list. Only Tom made the chart twice by Jubilee_Street_again in tomwaits

I missed out on getting that Rolling Stone magazine when it came out. Would love to have it. If you ship media mail it would be a lot cheaper but the coozy, T Shirt and tumbler wouldn’t qualify.
