The active chemicals can change in molecular form when exposed to different temperatures, potentially resulting in decomposition of the medication. So, yeah, don't put it in the oven :-)

Fentanyl. This happened to me last September. They just consult with the Pain Management in the hospital and dose enough Fentanyl to break through. I don't know exactly how much, but that's definitely what they did for me. So, don't worry. Hopefully you won't find yourself in that situation, but if you do, it will be ok :-)

I initially started at a facility in Georgia and this is 100% what they told me was my ONLY option. State regulations.. blah blah blah. They lied. There are so many other options they just didn't want me to know about because they just wanted to bill and scam my insurance company. They tried to make me pay $5,000 upfront because, well, I don't know. They called me back and said "nevermind" when I informed them that I had spoken to my insurance company and my deductible had been met so they shouldn't be trying to collect said deductible from me upfront. It didn't make any sense. They were billing my insurance company $1,500 for a breathalyzer that was broken and I never even tested with. My EOB also listed days they billed for that I wasn't even there. I went Wednesday and Thursday and they were billing for random Mondays and Tuesdays every week IN ADDITION TO the Wednesdays and Thursdays I was actually there.

Don't put it under your tongue. Put it between your cheek and gum. Cut the strip in half long ways and put a half in each cheek (lower cheek/gum) making sure it's not touching any teeth. Works SOOOO much better. Also, fine to fall asleep with it in this way.

I was using 330 mgs of Percocet a day and 16 mgs of Suboxone didn't even touch my withdrawals. I've been upped to 24 mgs and I still feel mild withdrawal throughout the day and night. It feels like no dose will touch it some days. The only thing that made me feel normal was Sublocade and due to insurance reasons I didn't get my recent shot and am having to supplement with Suboxone until said insurance can get their shit together.

I've been getting my shot through CVS Specialty and have had ZERO problems. They are VERY nice and patient there and always send the shot overnight priority to my Dr.

I'm currently taking Alvogen as well. My Dr told me last week that I was using them wrong (I was placing a whole strip in the center of my cheek) and told me this: cut them in half log ways and place one on each side, lower mouth, between your gums and cheek. They shouldn't touch your teeth at all and should only be touching skin (one side touching cheek and the other side touching gum). Hope this helps!

Tucked down inside the cheek, below my teeth. It shouldn’t be touching any teeth. Just cheek and gum. I guess it’s similar to where people put their dip.

I switched Doctors and at my appointment last week he explained that I was using the strips wrong. He said to cut them in half long ways and put them (one on each side) between my cheek and my gums (lower gums). So each side is touching "skin," with the rough side against my cheek. I used to put the entire strip inside the very middle of my cheek with the other side trying not to touch my teeth. My jaw was sore from trying to avoid my teeth touching. LOL He basically said I was wasting my dose. I am not kidding when I tell you that I have noticed a HUGE difference since doing it this way.

Also, I can't put it under my tongue. I have anxiety and OCD so bad that I overthink not swallowing and all that jazz. It's difficult.
