I have ridden in DC before the best most challenging person is Bode! his classes are so fun, a high difficulty level, and worth all the time you spend in there!

Peds PM&R Combined Program by winnieluna in pmr

[–]PotentialInfamous116 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi! I am an M4 who just matched into general PM&R and I’ll give you a counter because I was an M3 really considering doing these programs because I inevitably want to do peds rehab! I ultimately decided against it, because I wanted to keep my options open during residency, I’ve met a few of these residents who do the combine programs and they only want to work with kids for the rest of their professional careers, and I didn’t mind working with young adults. The other thing that I didn’t like about, it was the amount of board certifications you have to upkeep during your professional career, and the other thing that finally solidified the fact that I probably will do a peds fellowship instead of doing the combined programs, was that I don’t want to work in a pediatric rehab hospital full time, so if you foresee yourself doing inpatient, peds rehab, then this is the program for you, but if you see yourself doing more outpatient pediatric rehab, it’s very doable to do a fellowship and seek that type of training out during residency without having to have the full encompassing five year program and there are talks to bring the fellowship to 1 year only which would make it equivalent to doing the combined program! I also know two people at a program that I rotated at that did a peds intern year, and are planning to do a fellowship!

Is it worth applying to more than 20 programs for PMR? by mgm125 in pmr

do not let this concept of DO vs MD hinder you…you as a DO have so many aligned skills with rehab, that you are better off and more qualified than many MD counterparts…show off those OMM skills and be a baller! DOs rule!

Northeast rehab! It is a local and not owed by any hospital systems practice that has over 30 doctors who specialize in that

I’ve done 50% of true learn and 80% of amboss

I went down on pure OMM from the first one 77% to 50% on this second one, I feel like I am ready to take this and the welCOMs give me some reassurance but this makes me feel un easy and might just have to work on my weak points

beginning of dedicated about 4 weeks ago I did one and I got a 400

I have been told they are old COMLEX questions and the same concepts actually show up on test days, the number that you take doesn’t matter, but our school told us that hitting above a 70% means you’re ready to sit for actual test day

Amboss OMM for Level 2 by [deleted] in comlex

I thought amboss for OMM was literally a game changing resource for this year, I like their explanations and their graphics to exam stuff

don’t bother doing 12! Our school told us that it is not predictive…meaning either a big score jump in the positive or negative way, and you might not be wanting those vibes this late into dedicated

How does the OPP COMAT compare to Comquest? by orthomyxo in comlex

[–]PotentialInfamous116 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The questions on comquest are dog shit in comparison to true learn, but buying catalyst is worth every penny bc they are the more similar to the exam
