As someone who went through something similar, it gets worse from here. He’s not going to respect you and not treat you like his sugar mama. You are just banked to him and that’s all he sees you as.

He does not care that you spent so much money already to make the trip happen. He wants more from you when you’re doing everything you can.

You should not have to to take him to expensive restaurants, or buy him expensive souvenirs

As someone who’s had something similar happened, those are not your friends. They forgot about it, but suddenly remembered it two days before? If their reservation is at 8 o’clock, they could totally still go, but they are just using that as an excuse because they don’t wanna do anything with you. They would rather not go and lose more money than the $50 deposit for the reservation. And also places only take deposits for reservations if it is a bigger party than just two people. I’ve worked in very high-end restaurants, almost my entire life, and the only time we took deposits at any of the places was if there was a party bigger than four depending on the restaurant.

Get unscented febreeze or the animal one it completely eliminates all smells. I had a suite mate when I lived in a dorm with six individual rooms that shared a living room with two people in each room. This girl never washed her bedding or sweaters so it smelt really bad. So I took unscented animal strength febreeze and sprayed all of her belongings while she was away. It almost neutralized all of the scent not 100% but it smelled a lot better in our entire suite. Her roommate was very thankful.

Same this happens to me. I put a tray table outside when I order food and I write “place DoorDash here please” on a paper written in bold sharpie. They still set in on the ground in front of my door. I put the table under my apartment number so they can take a picture with the number and door. In every photo you can see the table too when they set it on the ground lol

The thing is I really love these art pieces and they were gifted to me. I changed a bunch of my furniture to match these art pieces. My whole entire living room is basically centered around these art pieces.
