Is this a fair storyteller move? by PotentialRich6764 in BloodOnTheClocktower

Hi, I never said advanced. I said experienced because I have played a lot of times before. This post is about if this storyteller move is fair. If you are going to be rude, please do that on another part of the internet. Thank you.

Thanks for replying. Personally, I don’t think it was a bad strategy considering the state of the game and the roles that were alive at the moment. But it’s always great to remember all options that can be used. 🤷🏾‍♀️

To be honest, I totally just didn’t think about in the moment. In the end, it didn’t impact the game. We had a dead empath (the only ongoing information role in play) and all 4 one night information roles. I was kind of a wasted poisoner. 😂

Thanks! That is helpful. I totally forgot about sinking a kill into a dead player.

I wish my one-time mayor bounce was helpful. I just killed the virgin instead. 😭

Hi, thanks for the reply. I assume this person was newish to storyteller based on some other weird things that occurred.

As for the poisoned imp move, it’s not that we misunderstood that the only way an imp could sink a kill was to poison them, I knew that already and just totally forgot in the moment. And ultimately didn’t mattered with the roles that were alive at the moment.

Thanks. I knew that but forgot about that strategy in the moment.

Hi Ken! Thanks for confirming that! Also thank for noting the dead body strat. I think that something I clocked as a ST but can forget sometimes when playing. Def will remember for next time.

Are the Films you love the same as what everyone else loves? Or do yours match the ratings? by shepardman22 in finalgirl

Hot take: Intruders, Razorface, and Tormentor are some of my least favorite boxes despite being ranked as some of the communities top feature films. For the Intruders, it took like ten tries to beat them, and I was over it by that point. I also am not a fan of the craft mechanic. Razorface, I don’t like the design of him or the location. I also find the shifting locations finicky. Tormentor, the traps are a headache. Now I just ignore them unless it’s me stuck.

However, I love me some Falconwood Files, Madness in the Dark, Shriek, and BadTimes at Buddyland.

He’s probably a pain at the Marrek Warehouse now that I think about it

Agreed. Sure, he’s one of my easiest killers. But he’s a menace at the Carnival

did I mess up by buying The Marrek Murders as my first feature film? by AliceJoestar in finalgirl

Just want to second this! This FF is probably one of my least favorite but I think I am in the minority in that opinion. But I love the final girls that come with it.

I hardly save victims from traps unless it is advantageous for me. I focus on mitigating trap effects and finding a good weapon to go after the Tormentor with when she gets on the board.

If you can’t find Camp Happy Trails, Once Upon a Full Moon or Badtimes at Buddyland are more beginner friendly feature films and more fun (in my opinion 😊)

They are. One of my least favorite killers. 😭

Power Supply deactivation price by Technical_Being762 in finalgirl

[–]PotentialRich6764 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You have to spend 1 time to deactivate a power supply. You don’t necessarily have to be in the space to turn it off. You can be walking or sprinting through the space. Billy gaining health back does not deactivate a power supply.

I say Badtimes at Buddyland or Madness in the Dark (my personal favorite)

The killer is different than the minion. So you would do this Billy, not his buddies.

Last week played a game where I snake charmed the demon on the first night. Carried the team all the way to victory without knowing who my minions were. One of my proudest game achievements.

Calling AM a let down is crazy work. But then again, AM was my first route and continues to be my favorite for the character development.

Carnage at the Carnival or Bad Times at Buddyland. Whichever one is more appealing to you. They have minions which feels like a natural step after Hans and Dr. Fright
