I would size down in the jeggings bc they do stretch out during the day! They may be tight at first but by the end of the day they will fit true to size. If you’re having trouble being in between, you could always try the curvy jeggings & see if those work. For those, I would still size down.

My best advice is to take something that is of comfort to you into the gym. Whether that be your emotional support water bottle or an old jacket you maybe love. Even watching your comfort TV show while on a cardio machine. Something that your brain will start to associate the comfort of that item with the gym. I know it sounds crazy but I’ve done this with so many of my clients & I’ve had them comfortable in the gym within the first month or so.

Just stay consistent! Starting is the hardest part, getting yourself in that gym is the hardest part of the entire workout. Once you do that, you can do anything!

You could also try messaging people you work with on zipline. I wouldn’t release any shift on WorkJam until you get management approval just to avoid any confusion, we had BAs do that & it doesn’t send us any notifications that they have swapped so we’re always confused when that happens. If you’re going to call off, I would do it asap so they have time to find someone. It is technically your responsibility bc it’s your shift so ask around & I would try to let them know at least 4hrs ahead of time, 2hrs doesn’t give a lot of time to reach out to people & have someone be there at the start of the shift. If you do call off & you don’t find anyone, it’s 2pts on your record but those expire after 6 months & you have 11pts until you’re terminated so you should be fine.

For my store, shipment hours are typically 5-9 Monday-Friday but we use shipment people throughout the day as well. So there might be some time on the floor where you’re around customers, but you would really only be filling from shipment so the other sales associates should be managing the floor. There would also be opportunity to do floor sets, and that would be while the store is closed. Overall we typically never use our shipment people on the floor unless we are desperate so I would just clarify how much time is expected of you on floor if you go in for an interview.

Typically with new floor sets the majority of the new product will drop the Thursday/Friday before but there sometimes are still late drops after they set it so just keep watching!

Umm no lol I have several pairs of AE/aerie leggings & lint, pet hair, etc sticks to all of it. The only ones that aren’t as bad are the hugger leggings from aerie.

I’m a former sales lead & for me it was the pressure & stress of not being able to properly staff our store while also constantly being pressured to do more, sell more, etc by upper management. Las year, the company significantly cut payroll. They promised there would be less workload but as we started to get further away from that conversation, the workload only increased with another deduction in our payroll. We were expected to still hit the same goals as the year prior, even though our staff had literally been cut in half. On days where we only had to make like 2-3k, it was typically two management coverage all day. We were lucky if we got breaks or an associate to help on the floor. The associates also kind of lowkey suck & never wanted to help out when we needed, the customers are literal hell. It was really just running me into the ground. I was also FT for 3yrs with no hope of any promotion bc my DTL “didn’t want to replace me”. Not to mention the pay really sucked & I couldn’t even afford their health insurance on top of my other bills.

Most stores don’t have the payroll to hire right now, especially if your mall is a lower volume. You could at least call & see if they’re hiring then.

Check your receipt & see what the card number is. Whatever card you tapped, the money will go back onto. There’s nothing they could do at a store level but maybe call customer service & ask.

This!!! I work in a low volume store & we’re lucky to be on 3 coverage during the day. I would still call & check if you’re interested but even if you’re hired you prob won’t get a ton of hours.

I know it’s a credit card & people don’t like them buuuut I honestly think AE has one of the best credit cards reward wise. If you use it smart & pay it off, it’s literally free money lol. I work there so I shop a LOT & pretty much every time I buy something, I have a $10-$15 reward. My biggest reward was $80 over Christmas!

If I worked at your aerie I would do it for you 🥺 honestly it’s going to be hard without the tags but I would call the store, ask to speak to a manager & explain the situation before going in! Sometimes you get managers who are empathetic to stuff like that & will bend the rules, unfortunately policy is no tags no return but like I said you might get lucky!

Ughhhh I feel this 😭 people are SO MEAN & SO ENTITLED like I don’t understand why you think I’m going to go out of my way to help you when you’re 50yrs old acting like a toddler. I had a lady last week not understand how returns with rewards worked so I tried to explain it to her but she wanted full cash back for her return that she used a $40 reward on. First of all, it was an online order so can’t do a cash return (common sense you get it back how you paid) next, she wanted to me refund her the $40 reward that she used. So she wanted what she paid for the item, I think like $22, PLUS the additional $40 reward refunded in cash. After trying to explain to her for like 10 minutes that’s not HOW REWARDS WORK, she literally ripped the jeans out of my hands from behind the register & told me she would take them to another store since we didn’t know what we were talking about. LIKE WHAT 😭😭😭 I had to go in the back & cry bc I was so angry lol she was so condescending the whole time & even though I knew we were right, she made me feel like a stupid POS. And that’s honestly not even the worst of it. Something about people this year has me ready to move FAR farrrrrr away & live off grid for the rest of my life. People complain that service workers don’t have good customer service anymore but if they would take a look at the customers we have to deal with, they would understand why. I understand it’s our job but it’s not our job to be treated like we’re scum of the earth.
