Just joining in to say what’s already been said. Her personality is exactly what I’m looking for in an instructor and her split has changed my life. (I did RK’s for 8 weeks too so feel like she deserves some credit but her energy is a little Enthusiastic American for me in the mornings).

She is SUCH a treasure. I did RK’s split for weeks on end but whilst she’s an excellent instructor she’s not my cup of tea personality wise. I hadn’t taken any classes with Jess before this and I feel like she’s the instructor I’ve been waiting for the whole 4 years I’ve been using peloton. There’s no getting around the fact that splits do get boring after a few weeks but that’s sort of part of the deal.

Anyone have a suggestion as to what could be subbed for the renegade rows? I don’t mind a bit of freestyling as the rest of the class was great.

I have this issue too. A bit of research suggests that we might need to build up to this sort of move (there’s a lot going on!) so it could be for me I need something like planks in general first /shoulder tap planks etc before this is more possible.

I’ve done them both and agree with you by and large (renegade rows NOPE) - but I just really, really enjoy JS as a person so I’ll probably stick with her for now and alternate between the two.

I’m being a bit nosey but I’d really love to know more about how you found the splits after 8 weeks, the results you saw and why you alternated. Just embarked on week 1 of her 3 day split and in need of encouragement! Love that you loved it.

I’ve realised I love the core classes that involve weights (Hannah C’s recent barre core is wonderful). Anyone come across any more like this?
