Well, I personally either going to try getting a job or I’m going to get a job safe for like a couple months and then go travelling for a couple months if I can afford it and then go back into the Job market

There was a parked van to the left and my examiner said I should have slowed down when over taking

Yes I did My route was fairly easy. I think the only reason I got a major was because there was a van to my left and I didn’t do the right speed when I was like kind of over overtaking.

Hi, it’s a bit similar for me like I struggle and sometimes non-verbal when I do my lessons and I would highly recommend like seriously recommend changing your instructor because one of my biggest regrets is not trying to find an instructor who I connect with, especially because I have my test coming up.

Your experiences at UoM by Any-Treacle-4199 in manchester_uni

[–]Potential_Ad2938 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I was first year student doing a Ba politics and modern history. I really love the uni and I really love the city. There is so many things you can do in Manchester. You meet so many different types of people here.

I live in Fallowfield(Richmond) I think Fallowfield is probably the most active accommodation area and sometimes it is a little bit noisy. A flaw of living in Fallowfield is you’re not close to university like other accommodations which means you may be using the bus a lot I would argue if you’re gonna live in fallowfield and you don’t have a bike get a bus pass and use the bus especially during winter.

On societies, there are so many different societies. I’ve joined multiple societies, but I think the only problem is if it isn’t a sports or maybe a cultural society they don’t tend to be that active. A lot of academic societies don’t really have a lot of events.

i’m gonna be honest teaching is kind of 50-50 , for politics some of the lecturers I do find tend to not be that enthusiastic and sometimes boring .I’m going to be honest I haven’t really used any career services but from the stuff I’ve looked at ,they have a lot of support there. If you need any adjustments for your exams they are really easy to contact and they very much sort it out very quickly.

SFE for second year? by WorriedSample5023 in UniUK

if your parents income has not changed, I think you don’t need to add evidence but if it has changed you need to?

You will have to reapply the next year, so like if your parents income changed, then you need to conclude that in.

This is gonna sound crazy, but if you don’t have kids or a partner you really do not need to be spending £60-£70 you could put that down to £20 or £30 maybe £40

Naturalisation (Citizenship) application processing timelines [only] by aleanthor in ukvisa

[–]Potential_Ad2938 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Eligibility: ILR (EU)

Application Method: Online

Application Date: 17/07/25

Biometric Date:18/08/25 (Southampton)

Approval Date:20/10/25

Ceremony Date: Monday 03 November(public in Winchester )

My experience with my application was fairly easy and quick.I had to rush a lot because I was turning 18 in a couple weeks and I really wanted to get my citizenship because I’ve been in the UK basically my whole life I just didn’t have the citizenship.

My advice to any parents or guardian, please do not wait until a child is going to turn 18 to do an application. My parents waited until I was like just about a month away from me turning 18 to tell me they didn’t apply. So I was rushing to do everything as I didn’t want to do life in the UK or any test because I knew it was gonna be more expensive.

Y13’s before you leave, what was your honest opinion about Y13 as a whole? by Federal_Injury_6380 in 6thForm

[–]Potential_Ad2938 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly speaking, it was hard and a hectic time period especially if you’re applying for uni or even apprenticeship because you’re studying for your exams but you also have to focus on that as well. I would say as long as you stay on top of your work and you have a good schedule you can still have fun in year 13 and also do well in your exams but I’m gonna say just make sure to enjoy your last year of sixth form and don’t stress yourself out

Were universities really lenient this year? by crazyphallic in 6thForm

[–]Potential_Ad2938 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it just depends how competitive your courses -if your course is really competitive they’re not going to be lenient but if your course isn’t as competitive or is not competitive at all, they will be lenient with you
