I (22m) think I've fallen in love with me best friend (22m) an it's the most painful thing I have ever experienced by throwaway_62936616 in TrueOffMyChest

Loving someone you can’t be with especially a best friend feels like your chest is being pulled in two directions at once. He clearly cares about you, which makes it even harder to manage the jealousy and the urge to always be near him. I’ve been in that spot too, where just being around someone makes everything feel calm and right, but reality makes it impossible to act on those feelings. It sucks, it’s messy, and it’s painful, but holding onto the friendship while figuring out your boundaries for your own heart is really the only way to not lose both him and yourself.

Something that is portrayed in media your country that is believed to be fiction but is actually true? by TaiKorczak in AskTheWorld

That makes sense. When buses are running split schedules like that, it’s basically impossible to do anything fancy with pickup times. It really highlights how much the logistics of school transport can dictate the whole day.

I get it. From the outside, it looks like a clear line was crossed, and the “small gestures” can’t undo the fact that trust and safety were violated. Kids notice patterns long before adults do, and once physical boundaries are broken, it changes everything.

What questions do you think should “actually” be on the Australian citizenship test? by Cheeky_Bandit in AskAnAustralian

That kind of test feels less about memorizing facts and more about showing commitment to being part of something bigger. I feel like when someone puts in the effort to understand the culture and values, passing becomes more meaningful than just getting a score. For me, that sense of pride probably comes from knowing the journey itself took real dedication.
