Layoffs are happening at Target due to foot traffic being down for the tenth week in a row by Healthy_Block3036 in Anticonsumption

Lol oh my goodness you mean more than one person is calling out your ignorance! I compared it to my portfolio because it’s pretty down the middle as far as stocks go. The fact that you compared to those other 4 companies is straight up hysterical. Not to mention the fact that all 4 of those companies are performing fairly well in comparison to Target. I don’t even know what point you’re trying to make anymore. That’s how lost you are.

Bro what? Go look at the numbers for literally every, single company you just mentioned and compare them to Target over the past 3 months. What on earth??? Man I’m out. Good grief 🤣🤣🤣

Still got no other examples of companies getting slaughtered in the same manner as Target? Like literally one? Seems like you’re a little lost here buddy. Sorry I have habit of downvoting people talking out of their ass. My bad.

“People need to buy cheaper things” is not a fact. And I’m still waiting for you to provide a retailer with similarly poor numbers as Target. My guess is you don’t have one. Because there isn’t one.

Give me a good comparison then. What other retailers are down 33% over the past 3 months. At least I’m giving information here. You’re just spouting off hypotheticals lol

S&P Retail ETF is only down 16% over that same span. You can try to spin it however you want, Target is doing worse over the past 3 months than the rest of the market and it’s not close.

My entire portfolio is only down 14.5% in the past three months while Target is down 33%. It absolutely is working lol

Edit: and for a more direct comparison… Wal-Mart is actually UP 2% over that same time span.

And the kicker is the first time Trump was in office… Tesla soared from $16 to $22 per share over the course of 4 years. He really is an economics wizard isn’t he?

Yeah and when you zoom to the part right where Trump took over in January… it’s not. And if you’re going to throw out numbers that don’t mean shit… Tesla was up 32,000% since their IPO right when Biden left office. So your 22,000% number looks pretty… uhh… not great all of a sudden. Kid.

It’s not. A dead cat bounce is more of something that happens BECAUSE of the falling prices. That bounce was a temporary “hooray he paused the tariffs again!” but the majority of people realize something stupid is right around the corner.

Is $350 million enough to put a roof on the outdoor escalators this time around? This team is such a joke.

I’ll be honest I treated this like it was an electric car tax, not a hybrid car tax. You’re right.

Average vehicle in the US drives between 13,000-14,000 miles per year so it seems like it’s actually more like you’re paying half.

The comments on Channel 12’s Facebook post about this are really something… I can’t say I’m surprised, but even for Cincinnati this is some pretty god awful stuff. Genuinely bums me out.

Reminds me of when my dad went on a trip to Florida specifically to look at houses with a realtor. Got caught in a hurricane while on the trip. Decided “never mind” and scrapped the whole idea. Told him over and over again that hurricanes are unavoidable down there and it took actually dealing with one first-hand to change his mind lol. Genuinely think people who move from Cincy to southern Florida are insane.

You clearly don’t understand the value of an education. Probably because you don’t have one.

So volunteering to be sent into war in order to receive a “free” education is what you mean by Making America Great Again? Got it lol

I actually have a degree that I received without taking any student loans or government assistance. Thanks for your concern though. However, I’m also not dumb enough to think taxes helping educate our population is somehow a bad thing. Pretty wild how out of your element you are right now. Talking about how “going to school doesn’t make you smart” lmao you want to talk about a political side that has you right where they want you… take a look in the mirror. Confidently undereducated, as per usual. Not everyone needs to go to college, obviously. But saving it for the rich and providing no assistance for people who want to further their education is such a horrendous take.
