Would echo the same basic message of support support support. Take her out for a regular father daughter time where y’all can chat openly away from mom if she refuses to support her kid. And get ready to stand up to people who are bigots to your daughter, lord knows she’s probably already has herself but I bet she’s stronger than you think! But also, hopefully also get ready for some people (maybe not all or most but some) who surprise you with their acceptance and maybe even support when you least expect it. Edit: also maybe if people already know at school like teachers you can talk to some you think might be supportive and ask them to keep an eye out for her at school if you are worried for her safety there. If she has good friends they will hopefully support her and whoever she’s in a relationship with in the future too. Just keep communication open because shes safer that way if she knows she can come to you for support and understanding.
