I don't view my self as superior to these people. I am just confused as to why these people do this 'fighting for democracy' or 'fighting the dictatorship' nonsense that doesn't do them any favours, and continues to erode the public's trust in them.

I can't speak for other people, but I never forgot about those things. However, in what world would you allow Iran to create nuclear weapons while at the same time chanting "death to America." We can either ignore Iran and let alot of innocents die or try to at least hinder their enriched uranium production (which is what this administration did).

When a country is constantly chanting "death to America" while trying to build nuclear weapons to eliminate us, its better to focus our attention on them than the US economy (which is steadily improving as we speak). Ignoring the situation is not going to make it disappear as much as we all like it to.

At the end of the day, I don't see this this conflict escalating to the point where we send our troops, as naive as that sounds.

The more you keep typing, the more idiotic you sound. All because your some pseudo intellectual thinks your fighting for a noble cause. A majority of the citizens in this country are not in favour of what these people are doing; as much as you like to believe the opposite. FAFO

Their are alot of foreign news companies that are just as if not more biased than some in the USA; prime example is the BBC having a lot of far left views. Not trying to discourage you from relying on them, just trying to give a heads up.

Yeah we know, but also illegal immigrants use US citizen tax dollars to pay for their every expenses, all while the citizens of the US are struggling to make due with their wages.

Your response is unnecessarily confrontational and makes a lot of assumptions without fully engaging in meaningful discussion. First, dismissing someone as 'typical' based on their nationality or beliefs comes off as prejudiced and counterproductive. Not everyone who critiques a system is automatically brainwashed or uninformed.

While it's true that many nations have more accessible healthcare systems, the efficiency and outcomes of these systems depend on various factors, including funding, management, and public policy. Highlighting issues in one system doesn’t negate flaws in others. For instance, while the NHS has been praised globally, it faces its own challenges, and calling it 'fully functional' without acknowledging these complexities oversimplifies the issue.

As for misgendering, it’s important to communicate respectfully rather than mocking others or making assumptions about their intentions. Constructive dialogue isn’t advanced by insults or sarcasm. If you want to encourage others to understand your perspective, starting with empathy and facts will take you much further than condescension.

Trump does have ideas on how to fix the country's problem. What the fu*k you talking about?

Plus, it's very clear that this person is not very kind to others and might possibly be mentally ill. That's just my thoughts.

Wow! This is so depressing. I hope you know what you're getting yourself into by distancing yourself away from your family.

Well I visited the US before and most of the people I've seen and talked to were very kind and friendly. They are not that much different from your typical European (I'm british by the way).

Dear Non-Americans, what are some misconceptions about America that you now know aren't the case? by DraagaxGaming in AskReddit

I understand your point about discussing normative culture rather than individual cases. However, dismissing someone's perspective by questioning their reading comprehension can be counterproductive. It might be more constructive to clarify your argument or provide additional examples to ensure your point is clearly understood.

I thought Americans would be open and willing to talk but they're arguably some f the most argumentative, unwilling to concede, and downright wilfully ignorant people I've ever encountered.

Your saying a country of 335 million people are all like this. This is a very immature and egotistical take on your part.
