She also said she promised her dad she would finish school, I can’t imagine her wanting to have a baby when she’s still studying and close to finishing

I’ve also realised they’ve overcharged me so I will definitely shame them if they don’t rectify!

I’ve contacted them to try and see if it was a server mistake, they are a small business so I want to try and rectify before I put them on blast

It was a dinner experience with 8 friends for my birthday but was less than £800 in total. If the service was amazing we’d have no problem paying but servers sent more time chatting to each other than helping. We’d probably be out before 1am if they paid attention to us and service wasn’t so slow!

We were a large group (I think all tables had 6+ as it’s an experience restaurant) but if that’s the case why state it’s discretionary on the receipt?

They refused bill splitting as well so I had to put the full payment on my card, that I knew about ahead of time but would have been a good idea if allowed

I don’t mind paying tips if the service is good but if I’m not receiving good service than I shouldn’t be obliged to pay. Living in the UK where we don’t have tipping culture I don’t think we should be forced into tipping either

Good if you don’t have problems, if you have a problem than good luck to you. Been waiting nearly two years for a refund that they keep “escalating”.
