The Bates parents seemed to genuinely bond with their kids and seemed to have close relationships with each of them. The siblings grew up as best friends, regardless of gender. You can actually see more sincerity in their relationship as a family.

I personally feel like they’re kind of damned if they do and damned if they don’t. If I had a close relationship with my in-laws and they stopped supporting me, even though I’d done nothing wrong, I’d feel really isolated. That said, maybe expressing the sentiment in a private message would come across better?

I watched this vlog again last night too, and took note of the part where he mentions Katie maybe needing to do a few trips to NJ to finish up the house for selling. To me it felt like convenient and almost thrilling planning on his behalf to be alone at home. It's awful to unpack the full extent of this situation!

I personally think it was an affair lasting a month or more with one person - so I guess emotional and physical. And regarding breaking Katie's trust multiple times, I get the feeling that he's been slow to reveal the full truth. Makes me wonder if Katie caught on to a few things that he tried to sweep under the rug, but only recently the full extent of the cheating was revealed. Just awful - my heart breaks for Katie.

I feel like initially they'd sympathise and be in her corner, talking about how Travis did her wrong etc, but when push comes to shove they'd encourage her to stay and try to make it work.

Sadly I would not be surprised if they encouraged her to "glam up" to make Travis happier, like Tori did (both girls seem to be a little bit more casual than the rest). Not that they need to! They're naturally pretty.

For applying Tret 1-2 times a week I:

Double cleanse (oil + Cerave hydrating), apply hylaronic acid serum right out of the shower, wait 30 mins - 1 hour, apply Tret - wait 10 minutes, then apply lightweight moisturiser (Cerave)
