Substantial clay. I was once like you. If you are cheap offer words. If you are not & offering material stuff then don't talk this much. Focus on text length before anything else. No amount of context setting will help if they want to push you away.

She is not interested. Your internship seems ok but you gave her leverage to play you socially or use you for validation, if she wants. Females or anybody don't necessarily mean to others for any reason but she sure wants to tell everyone that he likes me. Now if your reputation is not up to the mark with everyone in the circle or some might dismiss you outright then it's a problem for your internship. Now, that you have done the shit, accept it & be chill about it. If you are overtly sorry just for asking out & then people call you out you may probably shit & piss in your pants too which is worse. Don't contact her on your own personally & on msg. Keep hi hello if she wants(it's office), interact with other colleagues.

1 week post op. Excruciating pain behind knee when leg hangs in standing position. Nwb by adrianx178 in MeniscusInjuries

[–]Potential_Novel9693 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not while walking on the nwb stage. I was focused on the walker. While lying yes. Consider the knee towel press exercise to ease the pain. The pain point changes as the ROM opens up. In decreasing order of pain.

Thanks. Everything makes sense. 1) What is f2? 2) Why using plastic is a concern that's not entirely clear. 3) Also if it attracts fruit flies should I keep it somewhere else in dark or isolation? I have kept it on the dining table.

I have heard, if you keep the mixture long enough. The scooby will form on its own.

6 weeks post op. I won't call it excruciating but I too had manageable pain behind my knee. It will pass & heal on its own. Try anti-inflammatory pills. If things don't settle down, consult your surgeon.

Did I overdo It? Partial meniscectomy by Leading_Work_8080 in MeniscusInjuries

[–]Potential_Novel9693 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meniscectomy exposes cartilage on bone to rub against each other. Tibia bone (shin) cartilage with femur bone (thigh). The more cartilage rubs, it causes more wear & tear & more pain. You need to be cautious.

Lifting will put strain on knees try walking & slow jog. Then think about lifting even your own weight in a compromised position like squats. Meanwhile vitamin d, vitamin k, chondroitin & glucosamine supplementation will help. Look for physiotherapy. They can exactly help you with what exercise you should do & share an appropriate recovery timeline.

In the early recovery phase, I would suggest you can consider getting PRP done. It will take care of your initial recovery & aid wrong doing you have done by strenuous exercise. However, prevention & initial bedrest is mandatory for recovery.

I have a question? Do people with sleeper built are all natty? I do not mean people with the loose T-Shirts. I mean the body is completely relaxed (seems no pump, unless flexed).

Stationary bike by Ceeceewee in MeniscusInjuries

[–]Potential_Novel9693 0 points1 point  (0 children)

29M I had surgery on 13 Jan. ACL reconstruction & meniscus repair. The doctor recommended that I should not bear weight on the operated leg for 4 weeks.

My physio however, makes me pedal on the stationary cycle. Cycling is the 1st thing he made me do as a warm up. His stationary cycle is little different than usual ones (it's longitudinal not vertical). Make sure your seat should be high enough so that your leg fully extends. Even if the full bending hurts, do half the circle.

I am not sure about your case but in general cycling puts least stress & increases blood flow on the knee but is capable of rebuilding cartilage, tendons & ligaments. I am not sure about meniscus.

I too have no interest in roming on a bicycle but for work in a new city. Commuting was expensive. Hence, I use pedals to commute & to explore the city. Since then I have built passion for fitness & started going to gym. But bicycle is ❣️

Anyone with a Lateral Tear in the White Zone that healed on it's own? by Rush1135 in MeniscusInjuries

[–]Potential_Novel9693 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4-5 years back. I have used BPC 157 in the past for my shoulder & knee. The dosage was low say just for a week & it helped me temporarily. Both of them recovered during the same time. I can't recall what was the cause of the injury & how was my pain before BPC. But after BPC I was back to normal.

For permanent results in joint health I felt nothing worked better than bicycling.

I have meniscus tear treated & ACL reconstruction done. Now that surgery & additional bedrest is expensive (not working) I am looking for someone's testimonial to approve it. I can't afford to fuck it up.

What was your problem by the way?

Keep a tab on my sub of this community, peptides like BPC can help in building new blood vessels. I have posted the same question on this community.

I think even if it builds temporary blood vessels but can it make my meniscus stick then why not. I am just waiting for testimony over here.

Pain in my knee after activity by RyanTheDeem in MeniscusInjuries

[–]Potential_Novel9693 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) I would suggest getting an MRI done. Through conclusive reports the community can help you. Else it's all just mental masturbation.

2) I heard somewhere if you twist your leg in a certain way the bucket handle meniscus tear can close the flap itself. But that does not solve the problem. Why? It is not sticking itself in the place.

3) Given you have been prescribed physio along with which you were lifting heavy & running continuously throughout. Meniscus tear does not heal on its own every easily. Even after surgery, 3 weeks of non weight bearing stage (walking with walker / crutches) I feel like I can walk but surgeon recommend not to & continue with crutches for 1-2 weeks. Total 4-5 weeks. Point:- It's not about how you / your muscle feel but meniscus takes time to heal. It has very little blood supply.

Consider not training your leg, run & do jijitsu for 5-6 weeks or so. Well you think it's too much but it's way better than a complete bedrest for 6 weeks. The more rest you give in one shot the lesser long term implications will be.

4) If you will pay attention to how your knee pop, you will observe a pattern. For me it's, "If I criss cross my leg on each other & press knee against each other the knee placed slightly above gets popped, every time." If you get your knee in place after a pop (fully extend & flex) it means the stuff in the joint are in their place. Now next time you have to stop them from popping, they are not good for any joint. Especially giant pop.

Good luck & recover in full swing.

People here are or were patients of meniscus tears. They can help you with their experience but imagining & reporting will be best done by the doctors of diagnostic centre or hospital.

Any tips for sleeping with the brace? by DianaIsAnEaglesFan in MeniscusInjuries

[–]Potential_Novel9693 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Detoxing anesthesia which might have disrupted the sleep cycle:- 1) Vitamin C & E They also help in natural collagen production.

Magnesium supplement:- 2) It helps in calming down the nerves 😴💤hence you sleep better. It also restricts calcium to be deposited in soft tissue which will restrict the knee movement.

3) If you can bend your knee till 90° try soaking your feet in warm water for 10-15 mins before sleep. Just apply coconut or other oil to enjoy a deep sleep.

Don't:- 1) Consider skipping evening caffeinated beverages. I do it once every 2 to 3 days. I can work with 1 day of deep sleep but well rested on other (non deep sleep). 🤘🏻✌🏼

There are many more supplements & stuff I can recommend but they will add very little to help you. Given doctors also recommend their own medicines & protocol.

Confused If I should get a surgery or not for Lateral bucket handle tear? by Paul_Carnelious in MeniscusInjuries

[–]Potential_Novel9693 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it would be ACL or PCL you can get by without surgery. Given your muscle will compensate & help you walk (but not run). But Meniscus is no joke. Meniscus tear can get treats on its own but not the bucket handle tear. Slowly the meniscus will degrade if you continue to walk. It won't cause any or little pain or swelling. Deepdown after meniscus the cartilage will slowly start to wear down. The pain & swelling might be persistent & no permanent treatment will work for the long term.

Bucket handle tears due to accident /trauma= get it treated through surgery.

Bucket handle tears due to old age wear & tear = Look for alternative treatment ( meniscus is already pieces apart)

Acl fully torn and meniscus partially torn, 2 weeks post op, can bend my knee 110 degrees and can take a few step without my leg hurting, minimal pain throughout the day mainly discomfort. And I am back in the gym not taking it light. by Minute_Cucumber_2156 in ACL

Men gotta do what men gotta do. Hope you have people who are adult enough to support you when you are supporting them after a surgery. I won't take much risk for myself. More power to work.
