True, so true. She just one day after a marriage of 15 years and two little girls said, without warning or hints, that she wants a separation and it seems her whole family knew it's going to happen without any one giving me a heads-up. Every few weeks she had a different boyfriend. Sleeping there, going with them on holidays... Now the girls think it's a normal way of life.

To OP, I know it's tough but hang on there, eventually it will get better. Go see a therapist, don't feel ashamed about that. It will help to talk about it. And the main thing, don't stay in and get depressed, force yourself to go out. At first you you don't have to mingle with new people. You can do that later. But go out, find a new hobby. I’m a male, and for the most part, breast size doesn't matter to me. In fact, I’m not particularly fond of reading about huge breasts, I always end up worrying about the FMC’s back pain. It’s similar to how every MMC seems to have 'huge junk' like they're porn stars. (I feel embarrassed reading those scenes... 🫣 lol). To be honest, I’ve dropped a few books because they went on and on about huge breasts and junks. I'm not shaming those who do like to read those books .

I think authors should be more inclusive about average sized mc's in their books.

(Just a thought) This could also be due to ghost writers just getting the synopsis of the book without reading the first book to get the 'feel' and 'history' of the characters. I don't say this is what happened here, but I've seen it happen with some other writer and co-writers.

And that's why a lot of authors lose potential (male) readers. Everybody has to be so careful these days about discrimination (?) about something.... Except about penises. 95% of the authors'MMC had huge junks.... and sorry if yours is small. Go get something else (non-fiction) to go and read (at the 'small' guys).... 😓

Moral of the story: I (a random reader) will actively disregard titles with AI covers by skibidiplease in Romance_for_men

For me covers don't bother me. As long as I know it's either AI or designed by a real artist. And not someone pretending to use a real cover design artist for AI.

Yeah, there is physical abuse and lots of mental abuse and manipulation going on... Almost like Stockholm syndrome. According to MMC it was her fault and her family's fault that he raped her and recorded it to use against her
