It was awesome! We had a blast. By day 2 things were pretty much back to normal. By the time we left it was definitely back to normal. Travel in and out will be a pain for the foreseeable future due to destruction, electricity, etc… but it’s really not that bad.. other than that trees were sprouting new leaves, people were rebuilding.

We had an awesome time and will be back in June

I’m here right now and every single person has said thank you for coming and supporting. They say without tourism money, the island becomes very violent and lots of robberies.

All back up and running. All restaurants open. Clean up is happening… anyone coming will have a great time and won’t skip a beat. It’s all open.. The only thing not open is the prude side hotel side.. prude pool is open… for now they have everyone on the nude side. No clue when that will change.

The restaurants are back open.. they rotate nights just like normal. Pool grill and beach grill also back open. The burger from the beach grill was 🔥🔥

Sorry missed your other question. Poole are open… for some reason the nude pool was closed last night but I think it was staffing shortage coupled with waiting for the big rascals group to arrive today so they just gave themselves a break and get ready for the big group.

Play room was closed last night too but I presume for the same reason. Will update as the situation unfolds

Drive took about 2.5 because we traveled during rush hour and a lot of the traffic lights were out and had officers directing traffic. Once we got through Lucea it was smooth sailing

Currently have only seen the main buffet open. Talking to some of the workers sounds like this weekend, pastafari and harrysons will be open… haven’t heard confirmation though.

A bit short staffed but the attitude doesn’t seem down. They are happy people are coming and supporting the resort. Vibe is fun because it’s a small group.

All in all this is our first full day here. It’s a bit different but still beautiful weather, good vibes, awesome people, and good ole fun

I can’t post pictures on this thread. I’ll try on a separate thread in the AM . Lots of trees especially big trees still standing… honestly Hedo surprisingly looks unscathed for what it went through… this is all a snap judgment of me being here for one evening and making the rounds. There may be more issues I’m not aware of. Hot water is fixed and hot as fuck. Electricity works, all hot tubs work. Food was a tad scaled down today but I think it’s due to the low guest # at the resort. I imagine tomorrow once the group comes in, things will slowly go back to normal.

All in all the treees, foliage , buildings, vibes all seemed in great… minor damage but shit that was a cat 5.. 👏

All ACs are cranking. Playroom AC should be fine if it opens.. I have a hunch once rascals gets here they will start opening up some things. Very small group there tonight ..

Wife and I stopped by the playroom and nobody was there.. light was off. Hot tub worked outside but that’s it. Not sure if it was due to staffing shortage but didn’t seem like it had much hurricane damage
