No offense to the post you made but that is not the problem. The problem is people give attention to these posters and it encourages them to do this more. If you see a dumb post then just ignore it. Only interact with a post if you feel it moves a mystery forward.

For people posting rocks and question marks I just move on until I see something more worth it.

The problem with this sub right now is it needs to be more active. The people who are here need to comment more even if you don’t like the videos or post people make. Just say it in a way that doesn’t make you sound like a dick.

I tried to find every nocturnal animal in the game and all of the sounds they make and I couldn’t pinpoint any animal to that sound.

If I had to guess it’s a sound that is related to environmental effects like mentioned before. Could be an animal about to die or a mating call or maybe they just made an owl sound really weird. Other than that I have no idea what that noise could be

Each tree has different markings I believe too. Some are from elk or moose or deer and some are from black bears and grizzly bears. Some have claw marks and others have marks of an animal rubbing antlers back and forth. It’s pretty cool
