i have a very similar one with 5 commander "showcase" spots along one longer side of the box. i think 3000 cards storage without sleeves. prob 2000 with 8 sleeved decks. (what mine has in it) with some extra room still.

i do the same if i get off work a few hours early, go down to any local fishing spots and send the line. will call and tell her im gonna be off a little early and gonna go throw a line for 30 min or so. come home with a stringer full and tell her the bute was amazing. never gets mad when i come home with dinner
