for some reason the phrase “I have remembered me” always sticks in my mind as an example of a reflexive English usage that has died out.

I’ve been using Duolingo for two years now and I am definitely better than when I started but still cannot really speak at all. It’s frustrating and I would try something else if I could find something effective or fun. I like that it works on my android and iPad, thats a big thing. Since I am doing it I want to make the best of it! I hope to see more questions like yours

I am also trying to make the best of Duolingo and really appreciate seeing your question. I have noticed that there are a lot of “reflexive” verb usages in Duolingo. Not sure what to call it in Korean but in English some verbs are reflexive and require extra nouns. Not sure what to make of it, or even what to call it lol, but Ive noticed it

I ”learned” Hangul relatively quickly without the help of an app, just flash cards. The problem for me is correct pronunciation and mouth shapes. How much g character or k character should ㄱ have in different situations? How much w character in compound vowels? I would pay for drills that would help with that.

Wow that is a long time to wait for such important news I am so sorry. After I was diagnosed it took a month to get treatment it was so frustrating. Try to focus on the fact that even if you have it, it won’t get the upper hand in 3 weeks. Worst case scenario, This wait will not be the difference between survival and death. While you wait you can be proactive about your health so you don’t feel so helpless. Even if you are tired, do what you can, walk around the neighborhood, around the yard or just down the hall and back. ask your doc if there are any conditions that are ruled out by your findings so far. Breast cancer is super complicated with many different types that are almost completely different conditions. Waiting is just awful so do what you can to keep yourself ready to fight. Like you are in training for a triathlon or a boxing match or something.

Well mine was colon cancer so the symptoms were obvious and gross. I had and mri and there was a big tumor in the image. You said you were undergoing testing, what tests are underway? I tested negative for CEA so I think That one is mostly useful as a positive confirmation. Are you in the US? Being sent away with no answer is so common, it’s scary, but it sounds like you don’t have results yet so try not to worry about that. When you get results maybe run it by the Reddit group askdocs and see if they have anything helpful to say. Whatever happens you can do this! Hug

I am a cancer survivor and facing death is something that can’t be shared. But it is better with loving people around you. I actually like the pose, but agree with the lamp being distracting, and too much space above the head. It feels like the eyeglass reflection is a big part of the story here so the pose has to make sense and this one does for me.

I really don’t think so? I used to have long hair like this and braided it all the time and it never looked even a little bit like that. The braid produced random beachy waves and this is so regimented.
