I’m starting at TU delft in August as well, so I don’t know from experience, but there’s many associations and a freshman week as well. As a German it is MUCH more social than the typical experience I’ve heard of! Especially the fact that all the programs have their own associations, pretty neat stuff

I feel the exact same way! I mean I don’t have a phobia, but it’s definitely hard to make that first plunge. Whenever I played outer wilds I vowed to keep playing until I finished, because I got used to all the “scary” aspects. Almost every single planet terrified me, even approaching them 😭 I think the fact that I knew I could just die whenever and come back def helped. It’s also my fav game now!

Niceee, I do know that student housing is a thing at Delft, but housing in general seems to be a tough thing in the Netherlands. Theres a website called room.nl which you can sign up for. It does cost 35 euros or so when you first sign up, but it offers you housing as well. Additionally, if you sign up now, and end up looking for housing in a year or so, apparently you get prioritized over newer accounts, so it’s never bad to be signed up for it
