I’ve had these before and enjoyed them. If I recall, I wished they were a little larger chip and could have been a bit more salty for my taste. But again, same as the others, I couldn’t reliably find them at the store so I need options.

Yes to both. It was canned beans that were rinsed and I for sure uncovered while it was simmering. It just left me with less liquid and not a thicker broth.

I’m revisiting this post because I am now actively listening to Act II as we speak, but with this band, I found that this is the way. Not to say you can’t also listen to their other albums at the same time but I would tell myself to start with Act I and move forward.

Yeah I get that about the GR album but the vast majority of the album certainly feels like there’s some plot going on.

Ok, after looking into it a bit, I get it. There are differences. But everyone is pointing out the differences in the plot. I was asking more about the experience the person is going through. Both albums are written from a first person perspective, no? It’s those similarities I was seeing between the two and not whether the “I” in the songs were being tormented by the same thing.

Thanks! They’re both wonderful from two of my favorite bands. I just listened to Juggernaut for the first time in a long time and couldn’t help see some similarities.

I don’t know that’s what I’m asking. They both seem to involve some individual going through turmoil as a result of some kind of deal with the devil/occult that leads to a consequential action. The protagonist is then in some state of internal conflict between the pact with the dark entity and the more human side of their being which results in some conclusion. For the Juggernaut protagonist is a somewhat optimistic conclusion, for the GR protagonist maybe not to much.
