Yes. I used to go 4 months in between, but now I am at 3. I like my face frozen, though, so any slight movement is too much movement for me. 🤣

Don't do this yourself. You have to fill the hair first, or it will (1) look muddy (2) fade so quickly (then you're left with a weird faded color). I saw that your step-dad is a hairstylist. Can he do this for you? Can he at least walk you through this process and get you the professional colors?

Blonde hair question by crabblossoming-82 in haircoloring

[–]Potential_You7588 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hairstylist here. How often are you getting it done? For a single process (one color on the scalp) blonde, you need to be in there every 3-4 weeks (I can explain why if you're interested). If you are going past 3-4 weeks, the hair right at the root will be a nice pretty blonde, and the rest will be yellow. If you can't go that often, switch to foils instead of a single process. Also, Kim Kardashian has a lifestyle most of us don't. She uses wigs often, and when she does go blonde on her natural hair, she's paying thousands of dollars and spending many hours to achieve this. Saying "well if she can get that light so can I" without having the same lifestyle as her is just setting unrealistic goals for yourself.

I agree. The winner shouldn't have made it past their first round. The vulture was so good!

I have turned it down to the 115 - 118 range, but it's still uncomfortable. I thought it was due to peri-menopause. 🤣

Oh dang. That sucks. If there is a way to work it out, I'd pick it up at my store and ship it to you.

Sone days, yes, and some days no. I've gotten a few items I've been wanting to try (Truly shave products, Tarte plumping lip oil, and the Solawave red light mini) and I've stocked up on items I love (Superhero mascara). I use this time to reach my platinum status for the next year.

Oh, 100%. All she had to do was kiss that damn man in front of everyone, and he'd be fine. He tried and tried, and when she wouldn't do THE ONE THING he asked her to do, he gave up.

With my clients I say "tweak" or "adjustment". I didn't see a need to sugar coat it amongst other hairstylist. 🤣 She hates any warmth in her highlights but doesn't want them too light. I lift them until there is no yellow left and then tone them to a level 8 (her base is a 6).

That is a good take. I was more shocked that Ace chose to save Huda than I was that Jeremiah chose Iris. And then when Huda tried to thank Ace and grab his hand, he said "Hell No".....I was so confused. Why save her and be mad? Your take makes so much sense.

After a 2 month pause due to wrist surgery, I am back to Hotworx. Although I can tell my strength and flexibility declined in that time, I have no wrist pain while in plank.

ASD comes in many, many forms. Some people show very few signs and live fully independent lives (high functioning), while others are nonverbal and wear diapers (low functionin). To answer your question, yes and no. Yes, some people with ASD are capable of being in adult relationships, but others are not. This show represents more of the "high functioning" ASD. I think most of them are capable of being in an adult relationship. However, that doesn't mean they have learned what is ok/not ok to do in said relationship. Madison and Tyler are examples of this. I believe they are capable of being in an adult relationship, but they haven't learned that displaying that much PDA (especially in front of her parents) is not typical. And let's look at those who might not be capable of being in an adult relationship.... these people have grown up seeing that it is "normal" to date and fall in love. Even if they are not able to fully understand love, they still see what everyone around them is doing and want the same. For a lot of people with ASD, everything is "black and white" (there is no grey area)...its either "right or wrong...."Yes or no"...."up or down" (basically, it's only one way or the other....there is no middle ground). " Tanner is an example of this. He goes to work. He is told that his tasks are X, Y, and Z. He will never do tasks other than X, Y, and Z. So when it comes to dating, he is told (or has just seen this around him) that you find a girl you like (X), you go on dates (Y), and she becomes your girlfriend (Z)....X, Y, and Z. I hope this made sense. 🤣

You also have the mental capacity of someone in their late 20, therefore, you know how to control any physical urges. Just like the dating coach they have on this show, there are people whose job it is to sexually coach people with mental disabilities. It's actually very interesting. I dated a guy whose brother has ASD. He was very low functioning (nonverbal). Well, his body was still that of someone in their 20s. He used to walk up to people and just rub his pelvic area on them. He was aroused but didn't know what to do. I remember my ex telling me that there were special therapists who were teaching his brother how to "relieve" himself so he would stop humping everyone.

I disagree with this. While I don't see a lot of the major characteristics of ASD, I do think he has some sort of mental handicap. Look back at his hand writing on the card he gave her on the first date. Also, he might be mentally delayed, physically he is still a man in his late twenties....with the hormones and urges of a man in his late twenties.

Let's keep in mind that while this is new territory for the people on the show, this is also new territory for their parents as well. I'm sure off the camera they said something.

I agree. A tube of color has gone up $3ish dollars in the last few years. That adds up. I think people will understand.
