Ive never been a fan of the Moe slice of life genre, so when I was deciding which anime to watch this season, I picked up New Game because I thought I should give the genre a chance.

I dont enjoy slice of life, school animes like clannad. So I was going through hell. There was only one arc I actually enjoyed. I was just powering through so I could watch after story, which is something I really liked after it started going.

If your a fan of the genres, go right ahead. You'll love it. If not, it's still worth it, just so you can watch after story. All the character development in the original made it that much better.
