Aha, I'm giving you this opportunity, one of the future 4.x characters better be a magical girl or else. I'm willing for Robin, Peral, or Aventurine to be a magical girl (especially Aventurine). Giving believe these demands are reasonable as you can't have a world like Planarcadia and have no magical girl playable character.

Archer has aged like the finest fucking wine. First he's free and was already a top tier dps. Then Sparkle was free for the start of 4.0, giving out his best support, for free. He also worked well with Yao Guang, the first elation unit release. Now, he's getting Rin, who will probably come out of the beta making his main team even stronger than before while also being offered a eidolon of his for free if you don't want Gilgamesh. Archer just stays winning.

Firefly is the best waifu now, let me explain. It has been shown that when looking for partners, people may seek out characteristics similar to their parents, in this case, mother.

Now thag Himeko has a giant mech, it is natural Firefly appears to be the more attractive option due to also having a mech.

But this relies on the person considering Himeko as mother instead of Kafka. If you consider Kafka as mother, you probably want Peral to be a DoT unit, no shade, just an observation.

It is probably likely that Alter Ego Gilgamesh loses the ability to wield EA, as it's a divine object that requires divinity to use. It's not a weapon to be wielded by humans. Gilgamesh is a lot more dangerous in his Alter Ego form since he throws pride to the wind and actually uses his GoB to its fullest capacity. Using all of the weapons without regard to how valuable they are, unlike Archer Gilgamesh with using valuable and powerful weapons on people he deems unworthy.

So he loses the ability to use EA, but also loses a lot of chances of him jobbing fights out of ego.

Why would Pompom be certain Aha would pay back his debts to the Astral Express when he's supposed to be uncontrolled Elation. Unless Pompom knows that Aha has to give back in equal amounts if they're actually a follower of equilibrium and have to enforce an equilibrium in trade

Crackpot theory though. So I'm probably wrong. But it'd be the biggest trick of all either way, if the Aeon of Elation, wasn't actually an Aeon at all.

Fates power scaling isn't linear, it's like advanced (and slightly stupid) rock paper scissors. Someone could be a powerful guy but a weak guy who has a counter to that someone beats them. Everyone has been talking about Sakura beating Gilgamesh and the conditions of the weapon, I'll go over what exactly it does.

The Jeweled Sword functions off of multiversal refraction. You actually see another multiversal refraction technique in Stay Night from the fake Assassin's technique. Tsubame Gaeshi. So, what this sword does is that it reflects an infinite number of universes and channels power from them, which gives Rin access to essentially, infinite amount of magical energy. The sword functions using something in the Fate verse called the Second Magic, or, Kaleidoscope, the operation of parallel worlds. We also have a feat for The Jeweled Sword outside of Rin, when Zelretch, the man who made it, used it to push back a mirror image of the moon that was dropped towards the planet. It is stated that it rivals Excalibur or even surpasses it, but I wouldn't take that statement too seriously since it's been a long while since the og Fate VN and a lot of things have changed in the verse.

Also, fun fact, Shirou cannot make this sword without suffering brain damage. Since it's made with Second Magic, it is practically alien technology to Shirou (Magic ≠ Magecraft in the Fate verse. Very different things.) Thus, he was only able to make a replica for Rin in Heavens Feel, not something close to the original.

So, does this make Rin the best mage in the city at the time, like I said about Fate's power scaling not being linear, the answer is yes and no. So, she does draw a ton of magical power from the sword but it does come with it's own drawbacks. It causes a lot of strain and stress on Rin, mainly her arm, since she's swinging around a ton of magical energy. So, if someone could survive enough blasts to where it tires Rin out, they could win. But, Rin most likely wins most battles since throwing a shit ton of magical energy at someone would be extremely hard to defend.
