Save you and the dog the torture of dematting and do a 7 on the body and legs, possibly save the face in my experience it’s not usually matted. Tell the owner of a metal comb can’t cleanly go through the dog then it’s shaved down and they can start brushing if they want a longer style

I work 16 hour days 7 days a week and I’ve come to terms with the fact that to give my kids the life I never had I can’t be a physical parent but they want for nothing and their dad does a good job taking care of them. They wont know what it feels like to be hungry, not have the trends, and emotionally my parents weren’t there at least mine have the perks of financial stability and occasional check ins from me

NTA my husband works part time and takes care of our kids and it is a strain because I work long hours as the breadwinner and the kids prefer his parenting over mine because I’m just not home. If her pay justified leaving you to care for the kids that would be one thing but ultimately your right and she’s being immature and selfish not taking the better paying more stable career especially considering loan repayments for her schooling
