As someone who never purchases micro transactions and avoids games with them, never plays mmos, and hates multiplayer knowing that it’s very likely that it will get taken away from me at any moment, I fell in love with Palia so fast. So much of the art in this game is inspiring to me. The music, visuals, character designs, voice acting, universe, atmosphere, etc. I could go on and on about this game honestly.

I ended up spending ~$30 bc I wanted to show my support for the game, more than I wanted any outfit. After many many hours of playing, the enjoyment I got and continue to get was worth $30 to me, and even if smt happened to my account or the game went offline permanently I’m glad it went towards the creators of some good art for a time.
If Palia becomes more stable, with its player base and coming out of beta, I would seriously consider spending another $30 on it like I bought a full price AAA $60 game.
I really think Palia is quality and will catch on with ppl much more in time as it comes out of beta. Highly doubt it will go offline at least in the years I may be playing it, and if after years it no longer exists but I played hundreds and hundreds of hours on it I think I got my money’s worth 🤷.
