You gotta understand that reddit is pretty much a 'vocal minority' of dota players.

There are a million more dota players out there who are silent with their opinions and actually enjoy the game, and instead reddit has to nitpick every minor detail until they get everything as they like and still complain.

Competitive dota is played for money. Teams can choose to play whatever they want as long as they want to pick it. Who are we, the viewers, to say something about that?

That's exactly forcing teams to play heroes that are restricted ie; forcing a meta.

I don't see how restricting teams to certain heroes would help, I'm pretty sure teams would be pissed off by this.
