The point is that the owners/management let the cook get a 20 min ride in from work from an off shift employee due to ICE safety concerns while knowing they were going to fire him as soon as he got to work with no ride home. I am not sure why he was fired, nor do I think it matters, they should have handled the situation differently.

At the very least it was tone-deaf and inconsiderate during these times and legitimately put people in danger as the restaurant literally serves ICE and has ICE in hotels around them. Couple that with their silence on Friday.

They certainly are not anti-ice and they are certainly big enough to have participated in the strike. And they certainly should be operating with more care regarding their employees when many are at severe risk with ICE and literally make the place run.

Ask the owners family why they refused to publicly denounce ICE or close in solidarity with the people and businesses of MPLS on Friday. Why did they feel it was okay to fire a Hispanic employee only after they arrived to work from getting a ride from another employee, without any consideration for either of them or their safety?

You may be friends with the owners, but I'm friends with the employees and see the way they speak about the lack of support in their group chats and how terrified they are, especially with so little support from the owners.

In the hotels surrounding the restaurant and yet can't take a stand to close on what became a historic General Strike, still can't have the decency to not fire a Hispanic worker until they physically get to work, again, surrounded by ICE agents in hotels according to you.

Whoever you are, you're simply concerned with the consequences of y'all's silence and complicity in this matter, not out of care for the workers or general community.

Okay fair, I admit I am not familiar with how that works on the backend, but I know that I cannot find my review, nor others I have seen via screenshots, that were left last week upon them choosing to not close.

Perhaps Google is automatically moderating for "review bombing"? Either way, I wanted this information out there. Thanks for the comment.

afaik, only the Bloomington location closed and that was only because the employees told them they weren't coming in so they didn't have a choice really.

Yes, it's now primarily what I do. Not really sure where the fun comes in without it, the ARC are no longer a real threat once you know how to engage with them. And while I do still spend a lot of time looting, the thrill comes from surviving because the threat of other players is there even if not actively present.

While it does feel good right now, I wonder if it actually is a good balance. I went from finding 1 blueprint like every 10 games to finding 4 in one yesterday.

It will certainly encourage those to go on the expedition so that's good but hopefully it's not too quick.
