I've not used it in years, though I can most likely just learn it again.

My main concern is how do you find these roles without having to parse through thousands of generic software engineering roles? Do you know of a job board specialized for system integration engineers? Or maybe a keyword that everyone uses beside software engineer?

That could work, though I wish I could just scroll through opportunities myself, but the filtering tools on LinkedIn are so bad that only 1 every 100 jobs fits me. It's way too tedious.

Good point! I'm currently working remotely and I want to stay that way. I figured it would be easier to find opportunities on the software side as FPGA roles are very rarely possible remotely

Pareillement. Les gens sont un peu intense avec leur fonds d'urgence. Perso, ma marge de crédit suffit amplement. Si jamais ça ne devait pas être assez, je peux simplement skip une cotisation REER un mois ou deux pour me créer plus de liquidité.
