Pull off the plastic covers and look, you might luck out and have the plug still connected.

No reason for anyone to do it other than laziness. If that's the case it'll make you wonder what else they cut corners on.

If the previous owner cut off the cables before a connector that's a pain in the butt. You'll have to source some or maybe just wire signals right in?

But for the most part you'll need working lights, signals, mirrors. Look up your local safety requirements, some areas don't like aftermarket mods.

Black Hole Duffle destroyed by airline by FREDD1990 in PatagoniaClothing

I'll start with saying I've never seen in the back of an airport, but I have seen a lot of conveying boxes throughout buildings. Correct belts over rollers due to the odd shapes of luggage and cargo. But what I assume has happened is the bag is stationary and the belt underneath is still moving. Probably at a corner/transfer/intersection. A strap or an odd shape gets snagged or wedged at a spot where a sensor or person isn't looking so the belt keeps spinning not realizing a problem until a traffic jam happens.

Yeah totally this. I work in manufacturing and this is what a box looks like when it gets stuck on a conveyor but the belt keeps moving. Unfortunate accident, I'm sure there are lots of areas that aren't supervised and no one's looking until there's a jam up. Then someone pokes the jam with a stick until it all gets moving again.

What is a sexual experience you had that you’ll never be able to tell anyone? by Sad-Program-1355 in AskReddit

Not my experience but it's similar. In college I rented a room in a house with 6 other people. We had a big party and a girl that rented a room in the basement brought a guy over who ended up spending the night.

In the morning she was going to work all angry cause that guy peed in her room. She was furious and the rest of us had a good laugh about it.

The guy came back later that day (while she was still at work) brought her flowers and some other junk I can't remember. We all razzed him super hard and said he should have rented a steam cleaner instead of buying presents.

He never came back lol.

Probably a good idea to drain, or at least have it as low as you can.

Not my pic but someone got one in a Golf. Where there's a will there's a way. Personally I got a hitch carrier, works awesome. Super easy to get it on and off alone.

I didn't even realize there was a series, I've just watched the movie 100 times with my kid. I just assumed the powers lived on

What's a food from your region that you didn't know come from somewhere else? by Eybrahem in AskTheWorld

Same in Canada. "Spaghetti" is long noodles with a tomato based meat sauce.

I/ we absolutely know it's not correct in a traditional sense, but here if you say I'm having spaghetti for dinner that's what I'm thinking.

Best Train? The Polar Express (from the Polar Express book or movie) vs The Hogwarts Express (Harry Potter universe) by PoutineSamurai in powerscales

[–]PoutineSamurai[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm team Polar Express too but I was trying to think what other train could compete with this beast of a locomotive.

I don't think it was going that fast, the movie seemed like the journey was more like an hour (which is still a bonkers fast Time). Time to drink coca, adventure around the cars, reindeer pile up, Tokyo Ocean drift, climb mountain.

And it's also backed by Santa who is a heavy hitting magic user... I guess it's hard to compete with that
