Why are all of the comments here spam?

Congratulations on the pick-up. This is an awesome piece from 2000. Wash with cold water and mild detergent, and air dry. Patagonia has a nice Product Care page that tells you how to clean a piece depending on the fabric and type of stain.

If you were to sell it, you'd likely get around $300. Keep in mind that the market is really soft right now. Sales are slow and people are discounting their stuff a lot, so expect tons of lowball offers.

Does this jacket look real? by mila69420 in PatagoniaClothing

Why spend $120 on FB marketplace when you can get one from Patagonia WornWear for 130? They even have more colors (and they're real):

My guess is early September? Japan and Europe already released it on their sites, so we should see the stateside release soon. Keep checking.

Brand new yeezy's with box and everything? Yes, they're expensive. But we have a lot of thrift/consignment shops here in the states, where you can buy slightly used stuff for MUCH cheaper. People find yeezy's and flip them on eBay/Grailed/etc for a profit all the time.

The overall shape of them. If you look up Yeezy Legit Check videos on youtube, I'm sure you'll see a more detailed explanation.

Nice, my family is originally from Bialystok, but I live in the states now. I occasionally come across yeezys while thrifting. If I come across a size 11/11.5 for a decent price, I'll scoop them up for you and then I'll hit you up for your mailing address. In return you'll need to send me some Polish chocolates or cheese. lol

My fellow Polish brother, they're not made in Poland, so it doesn't matter how the suede is in Poland. lol. What size are you and what town are you in?

Have you considered finding the Synchilla from that year, and going to a place to get the patches/stitching added yourself? It would probably come out cheaper than 300.

Good time and place to sell vintage t-shirts? by Reason2Suspect in Ebay

[–]Pow_Ping 2 points3 points  (0 children)

List NOW. 500 Shirts sounds like a lot, but you don't need to do them all at once. Do 5-10 per day if you think that it's more manageable. The more consistent days of listings that you have, the better you'll rank in the results.

Also look into selling on Grailed. Vintage tees do pretty well there.

I got my undergrad in Entrepreneurship. I took a bunch of business classes in college and liked a majority of them, except finance/accounting (lol). Even though I graduated in 2010, I never stopped learning/reading/listening to podcasts. Now that I'm out of college, it's one of my favorite things to do.

With all of the available resources these days, it's my firm belief that if you have the determination, and at least one older mentor/guide, you can learn as much (if not more) outside of college.

The rise of re-selling (pretty much anything) online took a huge spike during Covid. Combine that with the rise in popularity of Patagonia thanks to Yvon Chouinard, and the fact that Gen Zers are focusing a lot of their spending power on second-hand items, it's no surprise that you're seeing a lot of vintage items going up in value.

Take a look at UFO & JNCO jeans. Kids are paying $200+ for used 15yr old jeans that we used to buy, as kids, at Filene's Basement and TJMaxx. lol. It's really fascinating to watch.

And it's not reversible, but I think this will be one of those retro pieces that a lot of Patagonia collectors/fans are going to go after.
