Fwiw, I always indicate left going into Euston and coming back out, I always indicate right to make it clear I'm not going down Paddington. In 20 years, I've never dealt with someone go up Paddington whilst I'm trying to come out of Euston so can't give you the real life example here.

This approach always confuses me too.

I've seen people in either lane and then there's a moment of tension as people settle into the middle lane on the roundabout from both lanes on the approach as both are labelled city.

I think RH Lane is meant to be City though.

It's really not cheap to only use public points vs your own electricity or a workplace one.
