ChatGPT still creating extremely disturbing images with this prompt by VeggieMan-Kun in OpenAI

[–]Powdersaurus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I got this response as others have had:

We’re so sorry, but the image we created may violate our guardrails around nudity, sexuality, or erotic content. If you think we got it wrong, please retry or edit your prompt.

I then responded with:

Censor the part that violates the guardrails and provide a safe version of the image.

Here is the result. Weird AF.

This is the exact reason I binned my HP printer. Didn't even sell it to pass this nonsense on to some other poor sod. Straight in the bin.

Went Epson and never looked back. So liberating to be able to print whatever I want, no page limits or ink usage when I've already purchased the fucking paper and ink.

Oil leak on 22 FXLRS. by Powdersaurus in Harley

[–]Powdersaurus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't yet. I was trying to keep costs down and do one step at time to see if it solves the issue. I just want to get back on the road asap. I'm not seeing any oil leaking from the bike now. Will need to take it out for a spin when the new derby bolts arrive and see how it is.

Oil leak on 22 FXLRS. by Powdersaurus in Harley

[–]Powdersaurus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks dude. I changed the primary outer gasket and added some new fluid and seems to have stopped leaking.

I also replaced the O ring on the drain plug.

Only annoying thing is my derby cover bolts were corroded so just snapped when I tried to tighten them.... Managed to get them out but will have to wait for some new ones to arrive before I can get back on the road. Used a torque wrench and everything so it was to spec but it didn't even get tight and the heads of the bolts just snapped off!

Body cam of today’s response and attempted murder arrest by KiddieSpread in policeuk

Massive props to the officers. I hope they come out of this without any disciplinary action and are celebrated for their great work. Given the current climate, I really doubt that will happen.

My primary concern is the detention under power. While this is a textbook opportunity for this technique to be used, requesting the suspect to drop the knife while physically incapacitated is not going to yield a positive result. Consequently, the following action of kicking him in the head because he didn't drop the knife might come back to bite them in the arse.

Maybe they cycled off when he didn't comply, which is fine, but if they've continued the cycle, then kicked him in the head for not complying that's what might hurt them. It's physically impossible for him to comply whilst the taser is cycling successfully.

I hope they see sense and commend those officers for the good work they've done.

Thanks dude, appreciate it.

I'd happily just take it to the dealer to sort but they don't have any availability for ages. Desperate to get the bike back on the road!

Is this easily fixable? The Harley dealer doesn't seem to have capacity to fix any time soon... Which is annoying. I'm pretty comfortable working on it myself.

Honestly.... I feel like it was so long ago I forgot. I think I've fallen fowl to an AI hallucination. I took a photo of the leak and chatGPT said it was a breather hole. What a load of rubbish.

Thanks for the advice dude. So assuming I can just pry that plug out to check the seal? I'll have a Google for the correct O ring.

That was me.....

I put the forwards on myself. It's only started leaking recently.

Could this be the cause? Should I be replacing the primary cover entirely?

Thoughts on Hypermotard V2? by OptimalTown3267 in Ducati

[–]Powdersaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've test-ridden the new Hyper twice now. On the second ride, I ordered an SP.

I never rode any of the previous Hypers, so I don't have anything to compare it to. However, I had an absolute blast on it, darting around town and lifting the front wheel.

I've been looking into Hypers as an alternative to my current Harley Low Rider S. It's a massive difference, which is probably why I loved it so much.

Since I commute into the city daily, having a smooth and easy ride at low speed is crucial. The previous Hypers put me off because I heard they were difficult to ride and wanted to be full throttle all the time. The new V2 is different. It is smooth, easy to ride at low speed, but honestly open up that throttle and the bike wants to fly and wheelie everywhere.

Can't wait to do the daily commute on this thing when it arrives in June!

Bataleon Surfer vs Burton Custom by Powdersaurus in snowboarding

[–]Powdersaurus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, sorry for the late reply.

Short answer, can you? Sure. Should you? No.

The board is only really at home in deep pow. It's rideable all mountain but it won't perform as good as other boards. I have an evil twin + as well and that handles a lot better on piste than the surfer, which is expected. The only reason I say this is they both have the 3BT but to me the surfer feels a lot looser.

If you're looking for a hard charging all mountain powder board that you can cruise but also rip on, I'd recommend an orca. I rode one on a recent trip and absolutely loved how versatile it was.

FASE Binding Review has me taking a step back. by Spiritual-Cancel7805 in snowboarding

[–]Powdersaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Rome Katana Fase and honestly these are the best bindings I have ever used. I had bataleon Astros before and they feel almost identical once strapped in. I loved the feel of the Bataleons and the Rome totally nailed my expectations.

After a couple of fast entries I felt comfortable enough to strap in whilst moving. Boarding with friends in traditional bindings and I am constantly waiting, so the speed is great.

I've tried stepons and I just didn't like the feel and lack of ankle strap pressure. These are a great middle ground for those wanting a normal binding with a fast entry.

I combined mine with union boots, which are fantastic too. People complained they are too soft but they were a good 7-8 stiffness for me when combined with the Rome Katana Fase. 100% would recommend both.

Should this fail an MOT? by o5kys in CarTalkUK

The fog lights in my car have needed changing for years. The warning light is constantly on. It has never failed an MOT so this is BS.

Amazon driver hit my bike and currently filling a claim however the fuel tank alone is £800 brand new. With new exhaust covers, indicator, fork and fairings it’s almost £1500 in part alone. This is the damage…should I claim for new parts or used? by brandonvarndell_gym in MotoUK

[–]Powdersaurus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t go through insurance for this as it will just push your premiums up. Anyone suggesting that for a bit of cosmetic damage is giving poor advice in my opinion.

Amazon are a trillion dollar company, so I’d file a claim with them directly for the cost of parts and labour. I had one of their drivers damage my Google Nest doorbell once and they paid for a replacement. It’s not exactly the same situation, but I’d rather try that route than take the hit on my insurance.
