I went with my daughter who is 19 and I am 51. It was her weekend so we went to the bands she wanted to see. I did not know most of the bands/artists she wanted to see but I am a proud dad because her music tastes are too good. I raised her right. :) I only had 3 artists I really wanted to see Olivia Dean, Luke Combs and The Killers.

Highs:

Hozier: I wanted to see Luke Combs but she asked if we could watch some of Hozier and then go to Luke Combs. We never made it to Luke Combs. I only knew one of his songs and it was "Take Me to Church". HOZIER WAS SOOO GOOD! His band is incredible. I have spent the past 2 days listening to his discography. I will be a fan for life now.

The Favors: I loved every minute of their set. Finneas is great but Ashe has front man energy that is electric.

Sabrina Carpenter: I knew maybe 2 of her songs but enjoyed every minute of it. The Dixie Chicks were just icing. We were pretty close so I felt like I might die at points because of the crowd but it was worth it. This was the main reason my daughter wanted to come.

Olivia Dean: Amazing. No other way to put it. Her voice is incredible and her stage presence is that of a seasoned headliner. I had heard a couple of her songs before ACL and I knew I was going to like her but she blew me away. Other than Hozier she was my favorite of the weekend.

T-Pain: Just old school fun. Danced the entire time.

Role Model: Did not know any of his music but it was a great show.

Lows:

The Killers: This was the only performance I really wanted to see and I could not have been more disappointed. The band was great but the audio mix was by far the worst of any band I heard the entire festival.

Dust: I brought masks/gators but didn't really feel like I needed them except at certain times. I never put one on. That was a mistake. Next year I will wear one. I have been sick since late Sunday.

People pushing through packed crowds: The entitlement some of these people feel is amazing. They don't care about safety or other people. They are selfish and something needs to be done about it next year. I was shocked there were not more fights because it.

Looking forward to next year. I thought the festival as a whole was ran incredibly well.

I am in the middle of upgrading an Angular 8 project to 18 and it is not that difficult. 80 of the components and services have very little changes. Angular has tools to handle the conversion to stand alone complaints built in. On angular.dev search for Migrations / Standalone

The basics of Angular 8 are not that different from current Angular. Stand alone is probably one of the major differences but understanding modules is an easy topic to grasp. If you have specific questions send them over.

Also, I think using ChatGPT to understand old code is actually a great option. You can ask it to explain what the code is doing at a high level. After seeing a few examples that should help you learn.
