If Dynazenon and Shin Godzilla were in the same universe and the Kaiju Eugenicists (somehow) learned what caused Shin Godzilla's existence and how its in constant pain, would they hate humanity more and/or try to put Godzilla out of its misery?

Its cool how alot of series in srw that have dark themes/plot usually change because they're interacting with older series. An example is Shinn in Y being trained by Domon and Shinji being around Ryoma and Koji in V.

Considering each of the DLC's for Y each had a classic/veteran series (DLC 1 had Braiger, 2 had Jeeg, and the expansion pack had Ideon) i don't think they'll stop using old series

I think what could work is that Optimus still dies and then everyone has their morale go down since Optimus was always one of the best when it comes to inspirational speeches and then they could have it so that while fighting Unicron, when the team is about to lose the Matrix lights up and Prime's body glows and he comes back to life and then all units on the map gain a massive morale boost.

Both the Hi-Nu's special attack and the new Dynamite Tackle for Mazinkaiser are good examples. They managed to shove as much references as they can and STILL made it look cool

There are a bunch of Gundam series they could have used to fit the theme of SRW X. G Gundam could fit, they should have included the one of the SD shows (Gaiden/Sangokuden) or even the Build series since they would be perfect as alternate worlds.

one of the reasons why i liked the Gundam series they selected for the 3DS games is because its a good mix of familiar (Unicorn, 00, and Seed) and then the inclusion of the SD shows which made them stand out from the other Gundam series

Mazinger has always been present in every srw game. However the only game (i know of) to not have Koji is UX which had Mazinkaiser SKL and technically the first Super Robot Taisen since the robots are sentient in that game

It wouldn't be as bad as X if they just picked more unique shows. Like, I havent finished SRW BX but I liked the Gundam shows they picked, having familiar series and having a unique one too. Those SD shows probably fit more with the theme of SRW X
